Sabre
With the mod tools for Left 4 Dead 2 coming out soon hype has been growing about the various possabilities of the tools. One of the most popular things people want from the mod kit is new characters. Any 4 man team is perfect for this, with people sugesting ghostbusters, turtles ect.Long time visiters might remember quite some time ago I tried (and failed) to rig a Krystal model for Blender and I also got someone elses starfox model to work as a playable character in a Half Life mod.So, someone more technically compentent with source then me can in theory rig the starfox 3D models to work in L4D2.On a related note, other then starfox and starwolf, what other characters would you like to see take on the zombies hordes? There are probably lots of other I'd like to see as well, but as usual, can't come up with it when I need it.
DZComposer
So, the regular SourceSDK doesn't work with L4D2?But then, I hope they finally get around to making hammer more user-friendly. I have a couple of ideas for some TF2 maps, but hammer is daunting. Also, Valve needs to hurry up and drop Source Filmmaker already.
Guest Para Astaroth
how about Aparoid infected civilians, cops, mutated civilians, etc. etc.? (Just change the original vomit and blood colors to more of an Aparoid feel, such as purple, green, lime green, etc.)

I know they ported the original campaign into left 4 dead 2 without it, and you could make maps for the original l4d in hammer. My guess it would be the config files and access to the assets.I found hammer to be to simple. Building rooms is really easy, but getting nice looking results is difficult. Basicly it's just placing blocks. The hard bit comes in when learning all the objects. The conuminity is also more then a bit elitest. If you need insperation, check out the SDK project. It's mods made solely with the mapmaker with no programing at all. There breakout, carmagedon, some plane game, a resident evil horror game and a lemmings game.http://sdk-project.com/
StarFoxIII
It would be cool to see Katt Monroe take on the zombies alongside Star Fox.
