well, i was thinking about some things in starfox, in japanese krystal always (in assault) called fox as Fox-kun (for the ones that don't know about: -kun is used to talk to a person that you like or an very close friend.), and on command  :krystal: and  :fox: acted more "flirty" between each other, <-that part was cut from command in english, and from references there are some things that i noticed: on a meele combat, amolst all of fox's attacks are kicks or use only the legs/foot, on one piece there is a character that only attack with kicks (sanji), and he is completly in love by a girl (nami) that attacks with a staff (that is called clima tact) that can do some weather-related things (rain, clouds, storm clouds and thunders), (sanji is a ladies-man, but don't panic, he is not like panther, so simplyfing: sanji= smart and stylish, panther= dumb), so the things that i said have some connection, so somebody know something else?

Wait........ in the Japanese Command, Krystal acted FLIRTY with Fox!? In the English version she was downright ROTTEN!

I want to see some translations.

Totally. Why, Nintendo, did you have to make Krystal such a bitch in Command, why?

well I also heard that Panther only spoke in third person in the English translation of SFC

:panther::Panther will now crash Panther's fighter into  building to save Krystal.

:krystal::Excuse me what? I fail to understand your brainwaves. Darn Translation flaws.

I would like to forget Command ever happened, and yes Panther spoke in 3rd person and Bill developed a cowboy accent.

The One Peice thing is merely conicedence, plus it really isn't that related at all...

I burned it and then buried it.

I traded mine into Gamestop, probably the worst place for it!

Aw, lol, c'mon... there are some redeeming qualities of SF: Command!

One, the game starts by showing that Fox and Krystal DID love each other... and some of the endings (as in, more than one) prove that they fall in love again.  We even get to know what they'd name their kid in one of the endings!  We find out about Peppy's family.  We find out how screwed up Corneria is that they take an ex-military pilot who is a retired mercenary... and make him a fleet general on the recommendation of a sick General that has some clout, lol.  We find out that Slippy isn't gay (at least not full gay) after all, has kids that fly for SF... it does have SOME redeeming storyline parts.  Plus, in two endings, Dash goes to Venom to take over.  He only becomes good in one ending... Star Falco... so it's safe to assume he'll be the bad guy in the next title, lol.

I don't think Dylan Cuthburt wanted to cater to Fox and Krystal full-time romance.  As a producer, he felt like mixing things up.  But Krystal returns to Fox in multiple endings, so relaaaaax. :D

:fox: <3 :krystal::falco: <3 :katt::friends:  and... of course...  :wolf: </3 :leon:, but they make you wonder sometimes.

Assault pretty much gives you an idea that Fox has plans for Krystal (;)) It's stupid how they made one ending counteract another ending, they should have done what all the previous titles did, one solid ending that wasn't fucking retarded. I believe, and I'm pretty sure everyone else will agree, is that Fox, Krystal, Peppy, Falco, and Slippy should always be the SF team. I thought it was really stupid to make Peppy the general instead of Pepper, even though Pepper really doesn't have much to do with the game other than he's the General doesn't mean he should be replaced and changed. Even though that Peppy wasn't flying in an arwing, he was manning the great fox and controlling it, and is still involved greatly with the game. It was really disappointing and stupid to have the SF team disband completely and everyone go their separate ways. Protecting the Lylat system is the only life they know, so adding that in the beginning of the game was ridiculous. One final note, all these new characters that they added are stupid as well, Peppy's daughter, the new SF team (Ugh), and Dash I think is his name, it's ridiculous. There is no need to add anymore characters, we have all that we want. One more thing, I think that it's good to have other characters that aren't part of SF involved, Bill, Katt, etc... There should never be a new SF team. The list goes on, but those are some of the reasons SFC is a game that doesn't deserve the title SF.

Some would argue, since Dylan Cuthburt produced it.  After all, we have him to think for both the released and unreleased SF titles for the SNES.  Just giving the characters a lot of drama makes us get more protective of them, and... judging your reaction, it's working.

The most popular ending of SF:C was... the team gets back together and fights the Grandson of Andross.  The only addition was Slippy's wife.  And they PROBABLY only added her because they were tired of all of us calling Slippy gay, LOL.

Keeping everything the exact same title after title gets stagnant.  AND, now you can have ANY ending you WANT.  You can have any team you want (Falco, Katt and Dash?  How about Marcus?  How about StarWolf as the heroes?  The list goes on.)  Some people like that...

Look at it this way... having a bunch of possible endings (depending on how YOU wish to play through the game) has spawned a LOT of Star Fox fanfiction!  That's always a good thing!  Some people LOVE kursed!  Some people LOVE StarWolf!  Some people LOVE Falco but could care LESS about Fox or Krystal.  some people LOVE seeing Fox and Krystal have a nice marriage and become parents and live happily ever after.  Some people wanted to see and ending where Fox and Falco get close and distance themselves from everyone else (the one where they become a famous racing pilot duet for all the FalcoXfox fans out there). That's why Nintendo did it... to try and make EVERYONE happy... and of course, you can't please all the people all the time...  Because now you're pissed, LMAO.

Relax.  It's just a game, no big deal man.  I get it, you hate SF:C, you hate Marcus, you hate futures, you hate the thought of Fox and Krystal getting old and want them to stay the same age and fight the same battle every day forever.  It's all good.  :)  We've got fanfiction for that, thankfully.  Me?  I've got a Star Fox story for every darn generation of SF out there.  Peppy and James, Fox and gang, Fox's son and his gang, you name it.  That way I can please most of the people most of the time, but certainly NEVER all of the people ALL of the time.  :P

I get where you're coming from, but take a look at the Super Mario series, very few people get tired of it, yet Mario, Luigi, etc never age, nothing really ever changes, Bowser is usually the culprit, and you're always saving Princess Peach who doesn't even seem worth saving, now sometimes they venture off and kind of change the storyline with some of the other mario games, like paper mario, etc, but it never completely changes, same thing kinda applies with SF. And you're right about the fanfiction, but I think the game should stay the same and have fanfiction when people want to make some story involving SF. Lol, SF is really the only game I take very seriously, I know I sound like a low life but it does piss me off sometimes lol.

Okay, fair enough.  Cuthburt wanted to try taking stuff from SF:2 for SNES and playing around with the characters... he did that.  They'll probably get back to their old formula.  I mean... Adventures was a break in formula.  So was Command.  No rail shooters, etc.

Personally? I'd love it if SF got more like Wing Commander, where you could chase down a squad of bandits and order your wingmen to break and attack or stay in formation... but that's just me.

I always figured they were doing rails because of the technology at the time.  Who KNOWS what's in store for SF's future... but I can tell you one thing...

Cuthburt and Myamoto are NOT reading our fanfictions and they're NOT reading our forums.  They're reading SOME of the emails we send to Nintendo... but it's probably few and far between because they're doing what they WANT with the franchise, since it's THEIR fan fiction.  it's THEIR storyline.  To a degree, since they also just shrug their shoulders and pawn off the latest story on a team of writers at Rare, Namco, Cuthburt's Q-Games, etc.

so long as there is a flying fox who chases an angry monkey, Nintendo Japan is happy and feels the Formula is there.  So who knows.  But that's why you've got Shadows of Lylat in the works.  Some people want the game their way.  Maybe Nintendo will take notice of that.  I would NOT be surprised if they sat down and started playing just to see what fans came together to agree on as acceptable.  LMAO, with them giving SF out to third party types... who knows... maybe they'll slap their name on it, shine it up for the wii and release it the way they did with Super Mario 2 and Dinosaur Planet. !!

LMAO you guys are awfully harsh, considering that Krystal and Fox get back together in MANY of the endings, and in several endings we get a clear future enemy - Dash Bowman takes over Venom.  And we know at some point, whenever Fox and Krystal DO get together, they'll name their son Marcus... so... we can take all the bits and pieces and figure out our own ending the way we wish.  And stuff.

Why, you a pantherXkrystal fan? LOL

I don't care who Krystal ends up with, she's a video game character... I just like playing the games and seeing her with Fox is a nice plus because happy endings Pwn my Skullmeats.  But anyway.

I devote thousands of hours in a year to writing about it.  I play it often.  I buy clothes that have starfox humor from obscure t-shirt websites.  But in the end... we all must remember that it's only a game.  Cuthburt and Miyamoto have some fun when toying with the characters but then they go home, eat dinner, take a crap and put on their PJ pants one leg at a time.  It's all good.  The elements I don't like about SFC, I change in my stories. ^_^

Life goes on.  http://sharkrobot.com/t-shirts/starwolf  I just bought THIS StarFox T-Shirt today. xD
