Asper Sarnoff
Camaro!Too bad there isn't a new Trans-AM, though.Same here. There will sadly never be an official Trans Am from GM, with Pontiac down the drain and all.However... There are a couple of companies that make conversion kits for the new Camaro. Such as Lingenfelter for example. My favorite is the Kevin Morgan's one tough. Showtime 1-1
For me, it's close between the 'stang and the Camaro. The Mustang has a legacy of beauty and heroism (Bullitt) and shares a name with the P-51, but the new Camaro lust looks so cool, and if it's anything like the Corvette, I'd buy it in a second. But I didn't vote for either, because If I'm gonna buy something designed to go fast, it's gonna be a motorcycle. Besides, you can get a nice Aprilia or Ducati for the price of any of those cars. despite the fact that "hate" is too strong a word for me, I'd have to say "I'm not a modern muscle car fan".(*runs away and hides*)

Heck, I'd rather take one of the 60's originals of these as long as they were in nice condition and with the "right" engines and options. If you have anything against muscle cars in general tough... I'll hunt you down boy!

Asper Sarnoff
Dodge Challenger, FTW!I love Trans Ams the best! Rest in Peace, Pontiac.Tought you would. There does excist companies which will convert your Dodge Challenger into a modern rendition of my favourite car of all time, namely the 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. But we'll stick to just the three official options for now.By the way, how cool wouln't it be if a company also made a modern Mercury Cougar? The original Mustang's twin sister. No fancy stuff, the focus was where it should be - in the engine bay. Call me a purist, but I just don't get the same "vibe" out of the remakes. They look good, though. If you have anything against muscle cars in general tough... I'll hunt you down boy!I doubt you'd be able to catch me... It's been proven time and time again that a reasonably fast sports car can outrun even the fastest racing bikes around a track. And I'd say that even if my '77 Corvette still has a long to go, it might put up quite the fight.http://asper-sarnoff.deviantart.com/art/The-Vette-133972020My old rusty Chevy truck beats all these!See you on the streets as well.

ThePointingMan
I dunno anything about what a good car looks like, but I'm gonna have to go with the one in the middle, the one on the right is to square, and the placement of the lights to the one on the left is weird. Guest ReEfiniZ
hmmmm lets see, there all RWD drivetrain, V8 engines of course, and they produce big packs of horses (like any muscle car does). So...I guess I voted the Mustang. The mustang is not too shabby of an american car , but it'll definetely smoke my RX7 anyday in the streets, actually all 3 of them would -_-
sniper
I would say 88 monte carlo ss, but because of the limited choices..... Definitely camaro. I'm a chevy guy all the way, but who can really say that the challenger or the mustang can really look as cool as this?

It's heavier that your RX-7, has about 315 horsepower, more torque, but the live rear axle goes against it.

That's a Chevy Blazer Julius. Shame you don't like the Mustang. Even tough that generation you've got is one of the least popular, they make a great base for customising it into a real killer machine. That is of course easier if it's a V8. You've probably got a 4 banger right?
