Her fur markings, or tattoos, or whatever she has are pretty cool...

I wish we knew her origin better.  :|

You can get them custom made, like if I had 180 bucks I would ask usakochan to do one, 180 bucks is for the highest quality anthro she can do, I saw a Minerva Mink plush she did, and it was very good, I just need to get the money first lol.

As much as I love Krystal, owning a plushy just sounds weird.

The only reason it seems weird is because of the stereotype caused by people who do questionable things with plushes, or stuffed animals in general. A plush is no different than an action figure... an action figure that's fuzzy.

There are people who make life-size plushies. I've seen a really good Renamon one.

I'm one of the few people who think Krystal really could have been done better in Starfox. ._.

We all know Nintendo can make a strong female lead. See Metroid and its protagonist, Samus. Samus runs around, shoots poor, innocent indigenous lifeforms, fights space pirates, fights horrible space parasites, fights even WORSE horrible space parasites and rounds it off by running around a stereotypical light/dark scenario.

Krystal is only a step or two above 'Peach' on the Nintendo heroine chart. Sure, Krystal can fight for herself, sure she has telepathy, but she still gets kidnapped and is generally emotionally weak. See Starfox Command when she goes to join Star Wolf just because of a bit of trouble in her relationship with Fox. Not cool, Krystal.

I don't know, I really would have preferred Krystal to be at least a bit more strong in personality. As it is now, she seems to just be a temperamental, sexualized, somewhat-able-to-fend-for-herself Peach.

If she was indeed capable of 'takin' care of business' on her own, I'd be quite happy. I'd be extremely happy if Krystal just suddenly started acting like Zoey from L4D. xD It probably ain't happenin', though.

I must admit, though, I love her Japanese VA. xD

She's clearly made for sexual appeal, of course. Look at the posts that boil down to 'she's sexy.' There's plenty of them in here. The evidence is in the fanbase.

She doesn't necessarily get herself kidnapped. It was Andross who pushed her into the beam when she was unsuspecting, being drained of energy due to the release of the Krazoa spirit. And Andross is the one not even Fox McCloud could fully defeat after two attempts, three if you want to count the original SF, which is noncanon now, or four times if you want to count all the Star Fox games made before Adventures, including two, and the comic, "Farewell Falco." She was attacked in a weakened state by someone who is obviously very powerful, resourceful, and cunning. That is not a simple "damsel in distress," as she was more than capable of defending herself earlier, granted she was disarmed by General Scales, but again, even Fox couldn't defeat him, Andross was the one who laid the fatal blow on him. I do agree though about the over sexualized portrayal of her, look at the official Nintendo images of her from Assault, each one is rather provocative.

Nothing wrong with her Assault renders, but you have to admit that they were made to be provocative, being just shy of pin-ups.

You mean the SF Assault instruction booklet? Isn't that where the 3D render of Krystal sitting on the chair with her legs crossed over come from?

Not to mention the picture of her facing at a 90' angle and turning her head over her shoulder where she is holding a weapon in her other hand and it is pointing downward.

It comes from the book, and I'm sure Nintendo had them posted separately. But yes, I believe that they intentionally tried to make her look provocative.
