Guest Julius Quasar
If neither solution to the garage plumbing problem works for you, go ghetto and get a bucket, a hose and several bars of stolen motel soap. It's really cheap !heh heh heh.....My ex girlfriend lived in a detached garage, or rather in the room above it...it had electricity, basic cable hookup, A/C in the window , but it was crap....there was a clothes closet, and there was another room, but it was all cluttered up, I would've helped her clean it up and turn it into a bathroom in the way I described earlier (I think it had a sink in there, so there's some plumbing), but since she broke up with me, I say let her rot... Anyway.... I've always wanted to live in a T-hangar, pretty much a garage for airplanes. I don't care if I have to run a garden hose for water, a propane heater for warmth, a foam pad and sleeping bag for a bed and have to put up with an outhouse in the winter. I can think of nothing better then living with my airplane(s) and motorcycle(s) in the same room. Internet would be nice though. Yes, I do have my priorities in order, thank you. On second thought, I'd need more of an A-shaped hangar for my Tomcat...cool!
Iblistech
For me, it would have to be either the basement or the guest house. Even so, I'm perfectly content with the house I live in now. :)
Vy'drach
I picked basement, since when I lived in my home state of Kentucky, we had this nice house, had a pond on the property and everything, but when it came to getting bedrooms, I got an upstairs one, and my sister got the basement, massive basement too, entered via the kitchen, lotta stairs though, or at least it seemed like a lot to me then, since I was about 6, bit cool in that room though, but I'd rather be cold than hot, get cold and you put on more clothes, only so much you can take off when its hot. Unfortunately, I did fall down those stairs, backward, slammed my head into the wall when I landed at the bottom, knocked myself out, lucky I didn't break my neck in the fall though, and that was the only time I've been rendered unconscious due to physical trauma. My parents say that room would get very moldy too though, and would ruin a lot of my sister's stuff, but I think a dehumidifier would help with that. Guest Julius Quasar
Sorry to hear that, Vydrach, but I'm glad you didn't break your neck.I wish my house had a basement I could set up a bedroom in. :(
