sniper
So I got halo custom edition, and downloaded the land of hyrule v .2.1 map and played it with one of my buddies...... TOTAL OLD SCHOOL ZELDA THROWBACK!!! the map had almost the ENTIRE ocarina of time zelda world and had only the zelda weapons. it was amazing! I got it hooked up with hamachi to make a fake LAN over the internet and it can host up to 16 people. 16 people battling it out zelda style
Guest Para Astaroth
Youtube has that all covered with game footage. Although it looked neat, Halo just isn't my style of FPS anymore.
sniper
I know. I don't like halo that much, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCkKlpjdaQI I had never seen this map until today. no halo weapons, just good old sword, boomerang, arrow, etc

Guest Para Astaroth
Yeah, I tested it about a month ago at a buddy-of-mine's house it got addicting for about thirty minutes, but it soon got dull and boring, so I eventually sat on his bed with a Sprite bottle on my upper lip, then I was asleep listening to him grunt and snicker to whatever it was he was doing. sniper
I know it sounds like everyone's bored of it, but would anybody be up for a match for next weekend? I have a couple of other friends who would play it too. It would probably be a lot more fun if we could get 16 people playing on the zelda map
sniper
well if anyone wants to play, download the "land of hyrule 0.2.1" map from hce.halomaps.org, and extract it to your halo custom edition maps. next, install hamachi https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/ (this creates a fake LAN connection over the internet), set it up and join the ZeldaHaloClub group (password: zelda) and you can make, or join LAN games with people in the ZeldaHaloClub group. With the LAN connection, we can get 16 players (which is actually probably too few for such a huge world as the whole of hyrule from OOT ) I will probably make a match next weekend if anybody wants to play.
