"I hope your alright Odin you were out for a long time like your father said if we had not found you , you probably would not be here."Krystal said expressing her concern for him

Kari hugged Odin."Taken over by beauty huh?" She asked letting go of the wolf.

"Alight quit your hollering!"Alex shouted back unlocking the door.

[Tiberius]

Tiberius tried to barge through as she unlocked it, and came right through the door, not expecting it to be so easy, and did a nose dive into the floor. He growled as he got up. "Never do that again."

the door moved away from the wall and behind it was Alex slammed into the wall by the door."OW."

When he turned around seeing he hurt he rushed to her aid. "Oh, god, Im so sorry, Alex. Are you okay? Are you alright?" he said.

Alex 's body fell to the floor the only moment coming from her was the rsing of her stomach.

Freya struggled to keep tears of rage from dripping out of her eyes. "I'm sorry guys. I failed you, and all of Starwolf." She said as she were rubbing her wrists to get the blood to stream freely again. Her ankles had luckily been protected by her boots. "There is little more we can do. He is on guard now, and won't fall in another trap. The only thing left to decide is if we should leave for Sargasso at once, or stay here and spy on them."

"Don't feel bad, Freya.  We all screwed up.  Cliff and I should've been more on guard." Attila tried to comfort her.  Cliff said "We thought you'd be mad at us..." and Attila shot Cliff an angry look.  "Shut up!" he said to Cliff.  "You shut up!" Cliff shot back.

Attila rolled his eyes and said.  "I guess there's little we can do, going back would mean dealing with your father, and I don't think you'd want that.  I'm willing to stay.".  Cliff nodded, and said "We could always try again.", although Cliff was dead wrong, but he was trying to help.  "No, Cliff, that won't work.  I know you're trying to help, but you're missing the point." Attila explained.  "Well...If you're staying, and if Freya stays, I should stay too.  But it might not be a good idea to stay here!  If Odin remembers where this place is, he might bring Star Fox right to our door." said Cliff.

"Oh, damn, you're right, Cliff...Freya, maybe we should go back to Sargasso.  Cliff and I will take the blame, so you're father won't give you so much flak, how's that Freya?" Attila offered.  "Whoa-whoa-whoa-wait a second!  Why are we takin' the blame!?" Cliff objected.  Attila glared at Cliff and said "We don't have as far to fall, Cliff.  And this is partly our fault."

[Asper Sarnoff]

Odin sent them all a faint smile. He had been right to stick with Starfox. What guarante did he have that Starwolf would have done the same for him as these had just did? On the other hand, he wouldn't get to know Freya, which was niggling him a little. Even when she had tricked him, he were quite sure she hadn't intended to harm him. It didn't matter now. Cliff and Attila had probably freed her long ago and they had all set course for Sargasso, where he knew the space station that was the base for Wolf O'Donnell and his operations was orbiting."I ran you trough our microwave heater." His father said, referring to the large piece of machinery in the medical bay, designed to save and heal the frozen cells of those who had been close to freezing to death. "That little trip in the freezer won't have any permanent damage. And you are healthy enough to get up now if you'd like."

"Then what are we waiting for!" Odin grumbled as he were about to move his eiderdown away, but stopped when he realised he was naked underneath it. Fenris chuckled lightly as he started to guide Kari and Krystal out of the room. "We'll wait for you outside. There's a fresh change of clothing on the chair.

As soon as they had all left the room, Odin jumped put of bed and walked up to the chair in the corner, with a pile of clothes on it. He put on the underwear woven of heated nanofibres, then some thick, black socks, dark jeans, a dark blue t-shirt and a navy knitted sweater, before he finally tied on his boots, which had been washed and cleaned since he had last worn them.

When he a couple of minutes later followed his father and the two vixens out of the room, he was greated by a hearty laugher from his father. Obviously Krystal had shared a good story with him. He immediatly noticed Odin and brought him in a side hug with his mechanical right arm. Odin knew how his father had lost the original of flesh and blood, and had an immense respect for how his father had handled the situation afterward.

"Well son, I guess you're in to much of a hurry to stay for dinner. So we'll get to the warehouse and check on your fighter." Fenris said as he started to lead them on their way.

After a long walk down the enourmous castle, out trough the courtyard, they were now standing in front of a gigantic hangar. The front gates were big enough that one could have flown a venomian Andross-class dreadnought, the largest battleship in use nowadays, trough them and docked inside. The sight that greated them once they had walked trough a small sidedoor was breattaking.

As far as the eye could see, there was frames, half finished projects and flyable space ships. Rack upon rack with shelfs filled with parts. "Yeah, I've gathered a few new projects while you were away son." Fenris sighed with a satisfied undertone as they started making their way trough the hangar.

The massive hulk of what seemed like a wrecked gunship caught his view, armed to the teeth and with four huge, partially enclosed rotors, on the hull by the twin cockpits there was painted a stylised dragon. "Bought that one from some strange, blue aliens on one of the moons of Polyphemus, in the Alpha Centauri system. A bit primitive, but I just had to buy it. Plan to restore it soon." Fenris noted as he walked past it.

They passed endless rows of fighters, a decommisioned Zeram class cruiser and an old Landmaster Mark I before they stopped in front of Odins fighter.

It was a Wolfen X. Matte black in color, the only decoration was two red dragons painted right under the canopy on both sides.(Check attachment for picture, exactly like that, but in red.)

"I took the liberty of going over the engine one more time. There isn't a fighter in the galaxy, save for perhaps a Starcat which can keep ut with it now. Just remember to service it often, just like I taught you." Fenris said as Odin walked up to it and let his hands run over the sleek body.

"If you two want to have a look, be my guest, I'll have a little talk with my son in the meantime." Fenris said to Krystal and Kari as he guided Odin away from them. Once they had put enough distance between them, Fenris turned to face Odin with a serious expression on his face. "You're in trouble son. You've put yourself in Wolf O'Donnels firing line now, and that is not where you want to be." He started as he put his hands on Odin shoulders. "You know he and I are close friends. I've urged him for several months now to recruit you to Starwolf when he would reform it again. That would have opened many doors for you son, and keept you safe for as long as you flew under their flag. Now that you escaped his second attempt at recruiting you, he won't give you any favorable treatment any longer. If you get in his way, he'll kill you."

It came as a shock to Odin, suddenly he realised his father had knew he would run into Starwolfs trap all along. But how could he blame him, when he had done it to keep his son alive?

"You are to alike me boy." Fenris said, there was an undetone of fatherly pride in his voice. "If you hadn't been so stubbornly following the honor code I forced into you... Well, there is nothing we can do about that now. You've made your choice, not a bad one I must say, and I respect that." He let go of Odin before he continued. "Now, get on you way. Contact me if you need me."

Father and son gave each other one last hug before Odin turned around and got back to his fighter, The "Dragon".

"Race you to the base!" He shouted to Krystal and Kari as he strapped himself into his seat and clsoed the canopy.

They were driving a Landmaster, and he were in the fastest fighter in the galaxy, so it was only a joke. A bad one at that. With a final wave to his father standing below him, he gunned the fighter trough the now open gates, and out into the white skies of Fichinia.

This was it, this was his element. Pilot and fighter melted into one unity that soared from the most incredible manouvers into the other. The thrust was breattaking, the slightest push of the throttle pushed him back into the seat with the force of a charging tank. After a few minutes, he was now over the Starfox base, and were going in for landing.

Freya shook her head. "No. I'll take the blame myself." She said as she packed their gear into their bags and left the shelter. She figured with the tought of them launghing a strike against the Starfox team as they left the planet in the Great Fox again, but realised that would be a suicide mission without the experience of Silver.

After a few minutes, they had reached their fighters, and started to remove the snow covers and brush off the snow that had covered them.

Tiberius picked her up and ran her to the medical bay to check on her. He figured that she was still breathing hence her stomach movement, and that she was alive. He was going to check her out for any bruises or concussions.

Attila and Cliff packed their gear and went to their spacecrafts.  They got into them, took off, and followed Freya back to the Sargasso station.

"Hey, Attila?" Cliff asked over the comm channel.

"What?" Attila replied.

"You think we'll get into trouble?  Especially Freya?" asked Cliff.

"I don't know, Cliff.  But whether she does or not, I'm still sticking by Freya's side in this, all the way..." said Attila.

"Me too..." said Cliff.

[Kursed]

"I'll take care of your son."Krystal said before she left for the landmaster.

Alex woke up on a medical table her arm reached out grabbing Ti's neck. "Don't ever Slamm th door in reverse on me again!"She growled.

"Okay." said Tiberius calmly. He wasn't afraid of being hurt by her. Her grip wasn't affecting him. "But how was I supposed to know you were behind it?"

"Which reminds me... Why?" he asked. "Why did you lock me in?"

"you know to be honest I don't remember."Alex replied laying back.

[Tiberius]

He got closer. "... I'm so sorry..." he said, kissing her neck softly. "Anything I do to hurt you hurts me as well..."

"Why did he say he wanted to Race us? KAri asked as she drove the land master

Krystal shrugged in reply to her daughter keeping Odin's fighter in the view  of the gunner's seat camera.

"Yes ma'am." he said as though she were the queen. He was being unreasonably nice because of the accident. He lifted her up carefully in her arms and walked over to their room. He lowered her in bed, and made sure she was comfortable. Fluffed the pillows, straightened the sheets, he thought of everything. He sat next to her in bed, and put on some relaxing music. Still thinking he really hurt her bad, he stayed at her side.

Tiberius sat for a second and the chuckled laying down next to her.

Alex pulled Tiberius close ,then fell asleep.

(time to get back in the plot, I guess!)

Silver was crawled inside the right engine cooling duct on the StarCat, so that only his feet and his tails were visible from the hangar floor. The radios in the cockpit were on, one of them tuned to Sargasso's grungy rock 'n roll broadcast station and playing loudly.

I swear... ...design these things... ...on purpose... oil lines... no goddamn service panels...

He was still in this position, trying to re-route a hydraulic line when he heard the Starwolf team contact Sargasso on the radio. He finished his adjustments and shimmied out of the tight intake, landing more solidly then gracefully on the floor. Wiping off his hands, he began walking towards the team's parking positions as Freya, Atilla and Cliff landed. He was leaning on the hardstand beside the Huntress as Freya dismounted. She didn't look happy.

(Sorry to hear that. With your birthday not to far away, I do have something in store for you that I hope will cheer you up a bit tough. )

Freya sent Silver a friendly grimace as she saw him. Her hanging ears and tail sort of hinted how the mission had gone. "Hi there Silver. Got much left to do before she is ready to fly again?" Almost everything that could postpone the inevitable pep talk from her father was most welcome.

Odin had parked his Wolfen in the bases hangar and had now made his way to his quarters. He would probably report to Tiberius on what had happened, and probably check out this new guy, Logan. He seemed quite decent. There was a lot of people who shunned hybrids, but Odin was definatively not one of them. And a son of Falco could only be a nice guy to have as a wingmate. Heck, if he was anything like his father was supposed to be like, they would get into a friendly rivalry pretty soon.

He dumped down on on his bed, there was something he needed to do first. "Serena." He said out loud, knowing she had opened up a connection between the Great Fox and the base, and would hear him just as well here. Almost immediatly, she projected herself into the room. Seemingly glad to see him again. "I'll tell you what happened later. But first, there is one thing I'd like you to do for me. Could you do a scan of the galactic interweb and see what data you could find on a certain Freya O'Donnell? Download what you find to my laptop."
