(sorry guys, I was forced to work most of Sunday and all day yesterday.  I hate the holidays except for Halloween.)

Cliff was weight lifting, along with Silver and Attila.  He also thought about how he would have to kill Odin.  It was a shame to Cliff, who really thought Odin had potential.  How could someone that excellent, with a father who's friends with Wolf O' Donnell, be such a goody-goody?  Attila weight lifted,  He reflected as best he could what Wolf had said.  He was looking forward to attacking a Cornerian Cruiser, but felt bad he would have to kill Odin, since deep down, he liked Odin's style (not "fashion" style).

"Hey, Cliff?" asked Attila.  "What!?" Cliff replied, as he practiced punching and kicking the heavy bag.  Attila continued his chin ups on the bar.  "We gotta do this next mission right.  For Freya's sake." he said to Cliff.  "Who died and made you owner!?" asked Cliff.  "I'm just saying, we can't keep looking bad, 'cause it's making Freya look bad." Attila said, tired of Cliff missing the point.  "And it's 'Who died and made you boss!'..." Attila said, correcting Cliff.

"So!? Wolf's her dad, he can't do nothin' do her!" Cliff said.  "Don't be so sure, Cliff.  Dad's can be right bastards sometimes.  Like my dad, if I ever find him, he's gonna be in a world of hurt!" Attila sneered.  "That's true...Wolf might kick Freya out, like my old man did to me....butthead..." Cliff said, reflecting back.  "So we gotta shape up.  For Freya's sake.  Besides, if she goes down, we'll be stuck breaking her fall." warned Attila.  "Oh, yeah, huh?" Cliff asked.

Attila smiled, glad that Cliff was finally getting it.

After they finished working out, they talked outside their rooms.  "We'll try one more time to convince Odin he has a better future in Star Wolf." said Cliff to Attila.  "I dunno, Cliff, that's a bit of a gamble...and Freya won't like it if you take matters into your own hands." said Attila.  "I'll take the blame if it fails, and share the credit with you if it succeeds!" Cliff said.  "I don't think so..." said Attila, who went to his room to shower off.  Cliff snorted, and muttered "Butthead!  This why you're always gonna be a little guy, in a little guy's world!  Think outside the bag for once!" he shouted after Attila.

"It's 'think outside the box', Cliff!" Attila called over his shoulder.  Cliff went into his room to shower off.  After they showered off and changed into fresh clothes, they went to find Freya.

(is Freya your character though?)

(Entirely mine. But like all my characters, her name orginates from the old norse mytology. In case you have heard it elsewhere.)

Silver, still hanging upside down, laughed to himself at the bickering between Cliff and Atilla. It was good to see that they were taking an interest in the team's success, even if it was just for their own good. It's better to have loyal "buttheads" then some hot-shots who take matters into their own hands...

He was also thinking about all this talk about parents. He sighed.

Am I the only one who had a functional family and a father I liked? Was it really wise to throw all that away...?

His book slid out of his hands and landed on the floor above his head. He snapped back into reality.

"Geh. It's too late for that anyways." he mumbled, reaching to pick up his book.

(All right, welcome aboard, Fira!)

Alex walked up behind Tiberius setting a hand on his shoulder "I'm sure we can do it Ti just relax maybe you should talk to you father?

(is Freya your character though?)

"I understand." said Fox. He sat down and let his head hit the table. He moaned a bit, tired and in pain.

"Maybe... But maybe not." said Tiberius. He looked over the schematics of the new infantry drone again.

He turned his head to the side and looked up at her. "I need more sleep... And maybe an XRay. One of my joints has been aching for a while." he said. He wasnt faking it. He was trying so hard to train and be as good as he was so he could keep Tiberius from being hurt in combat.

"Yeah... Yeah. You go ahead. I'll be here." He looked more at the schematics, and tried looking for a weakness.

Krystal sighed."Your going to be resting for at least two days if I have anythign to say about it " Krystal growled "Stay here.' She ran of to get a mobile bed on wheels she rolled it into th kitchen and walked over to Fox she picked him up having a little trouble ,but managed to get Fox onto the bed. "lay back and Relax or i'll put you under."She threatened rolling the bed to the infirmary for a X-ray she'd feed him later.

Alex walked into the hanger putting on some black gloves she  walked to Odin's fighter looking over it she  tried to open the cockpit ,but was unable to, she continued to admire the beauty of the Wolfen all ships had their beauty to her weather considered junk or not.

Kari finsihed her meal, walking out of te kitchen she headed for the gym for her daily workout.

Tiberius finished after finding that a static shock powerful enough, say that of a stun gun, to the back of the necks will disrupt the primary cortex and disable the navigation system. They didn't have regenerative capabilities yet, so this was an advantage.

Fox simply relaxed, letting his wife take care of him. He put on his ring he almost forgot about. He had to take it off to keep from letting her be discovered before.

Krystal ran a X-ray on FOx's sore muscle chekckign it she  look over it  "Your fine just sore ,but your still resting."She said strapping him comfortably into the bed.

Alex felt her gloved hand over the wolfen admiring it's curves, points and edges.

He looked over and realized where he put it. He moved it back and reached for her hand. "I just like to know you're there." (I feel so out of character...)

"Beautifull, isn't it?" It suddenly came from behind Alex as Odin stepped out of the shadows. He had been in the hangar, working on his Wolfen when he had heard someone come, and decided to hide and see what they were up to. He had seemingly startled Alex a bit, but she calmed down immediatly again when she saw who it was. "You want to take her for out and stretch her wings?" He asked. It stung a little knowing that someone else than himself would be sitting behind the controls of his baby, but he took comfort in it that Alex was quite technic, and knew how to fly quite well.

"Could I? very few fighters match the Wolfen when it's flying."Alex replied, looking at Odin sparkles in her eyes.

"And this one is something really special." Odin said as he walked up to her side and looked up at the fighter in front of him. "The most powerfull fighter in the galaxy. She can outclimb everything short of a Starcat, and even that one will struggle just to keep up. Be very carefull." And with those words, he fished a keychain up from his pocket and threw it over to Alex. Sending her a quick wink before he left the hangar.

(uhhh that's, Alessia, Alex for short. she a hybrid she-wolf/vixen she's actually a sciecne experiment using Krystals' and a telepathic wolf's Dna ,but her telepathy is not  double powered thus she's a failed experiment.)

Alex Caught the keychain trying to hold in her excitment as to not scream with happiness."T-thank you...." Alex replied looking over the Wolfen one last time she climbed into it.  'Wow I can't belive I've gotten the privilege to fly the best fighter design in Lylat.'  She thought starting up the Wolfen's engines, her tail swishing with excitement.

(heh just wait till you see Lupe,Ruby and Tala my three wolves then you'll really be confuzed.)

once the engines were warmed up, Alex slowly pushed the throttle forward she new how to fly almost any ship as s he had spent a lot of time flying in different ships in a simulator ,but none of that compared to the real thing. Odin's Wolfen shot out of the Hanger doing  a barrel roll once clear of the metal insulation she faced the nose upward and headed for orbit.

Tiberius decided to run to the hanger and check out his custom Arwing. He looked over it for any scratched paint, dents, or dings. Anything he found would be fixed by himself, pronto. He made sure the wing interlocking system was in check, and that the G-Diffuser and aerodynamic adapters were at peak performance. After checking that, he went over the final design. The ion engine. It was his own design for maximum performance, stability, and even an overload option if needed for the current design. The fighter's aerodynamic design wasn't that of his mom's or dad's, so it's upgraded past that point. The fighter had only one flaw. The consumption of energy. Since it's gravometric stabilizers took so much power for the different compensations, it needed a very large power source. This would not be nuclear, but matter/antimatter. It was a type of physics he discovered during a home class. He made the power source himself. It's the only one in existence to all of Lylat. Every ship has a flaw. Even the Wolfen does with its long and thin wings that can throw off balance if it. Other than that, it took extreme skill. The skill only two people had. The owner, and the father of the owner. It took experience to fly it even a mile.

Even though he managed to create the power source and aerodynamic design, the rest was done by Slippy Toad. The only known engineer to be able to create multi-purpose fighters. It's rumored that he even helped design the Arwing with the CDF. But Star Wolf stole the designs in the process of creating it. Back to Ti's Arwing, it took a qualified engineer and the blue prints to be able to fix the systems in the ship. A novice would probably kill himself trying to fix it. The Arwing was a death trap. But a master could turn it into a majestic ship of defense.

He noticed Odin to the side. His Wolfen was missing. "Looking for you fighter?" he said.

Alex flew higher and higher  she enjoyed every minute of it flying  a arwing was one ghing ,but getting to fly a fighter mostly used by thier rival star wolf was another  the only one she knew to fly both was Krystal, the lucky VixenPopping a  cd into the radio of her favorite flying music Dreams by Van Halen started to play.

Fox If you don't mind I'd like to check on my Starcahser I  got it customized to my specifications and I think the middle engine was giving me some trouble, you mind?

Odin sent him a sly smile in response. "I let Alex borrow it." He studied Tiberius Arwing closely. It was an entire different beast than his Wolfen. More understated in some way, one of the reasons Andross had opted for the reversed wings on the original Wolfen was not only to make it less stable and thus more manouverable, but also to give it a threatening siluette. And it had worked. There were countless tales of entire squadrons which had turned tail when they spotted the four Wolfens in the horizon. During the Lylat wars, Wolfens had been synomynous with Starwolf. The best pilots on the Venomian side.

The Arwing was considerably smaller than the Wolfen, and thus more manouverable, nippier, easier to fly on the jagged edge. He figured they could take just as much a beating as the Wolfen, which tough it was bigger and better armored, had many vulnerable wings that could drastically reduce its manoverability once damaged.

Where the Wolfen had the edge tough was thrust. It had a higher cruising speed, and could achieve that speed faster than the Arwing. it climbed a lot faster as well. Something he had learned to value during his training sessions, both in the simulators and for real.

"Don't scratch up my ship when you inevitable start playing around with each other." He grumbled as he turned over to have a closer look of some of the other vehicles in the hangar. He wasn't an experienced engineer yet, but he was definatively a gearhead, and always read every book about the subject he could get his claws on.
