Kursed
Eventually Kari and Alex left the cruiser heading back for the Great fox, Krystal however had found the cruisers in space garden, refreashing, peaceful, ect. so she had stayed there meditating unaware of Starwolfs plans since they were too far away for her to read their minds anyway.(I hope starwolf takes prisoners.) Fira-Astrali
"So, how's our fearless leader doing this morning?" Silver yawned as Freya walked up. "Ready to wreak some havoc?"He saw the smirk on her face."I presume the simulator went well?"(question: Is Tiberius not around anymore? I sent him a PM before i went to France with an OC question but he hasn't answered me.)"Your fearless leader has havoc on her to-do list," she grinned mischievously, "Cliff is none to pleased with how the sim ended up, but you can't keep everybody happy. We've still got a few hours left, so we can either get a head start on the mission, or we can take this time to chill."

Showtime 1-1
(I wouldn't worry about it too much. Maybe we could continue the SW side of the story up until we end up "capturing" Krystal. In the meantime, I say we get this show on the road.)Silver put down his coffee. "Remember, we have nearly an hour of flight to the intercept, plus an hour of briefing," he glanced at the clock, "which I would like to get done soon. And don't forget preflighting your ships."He took another swig of coffee. He never could sleep well before a sortie, and it had been a long time since he had worked with a team."You can 'chill' for a bit," he continued, "but I want everybody in our briefing room in one hour. I have some checks on the '214 I should get going on soon, so I'll leave you in charge of... rounding up the other two."

Showtime 1-1
Silver shrugged. "Hey, you're the big leader here, I just happen to be familiar with these types of missions." He yawned, then continued. "I don't care how you find those yahoos, just have them in the hangar in an hour."He finished off his coffee and stood up, but noticed that Freya still seemed perplexed. "...You can plan a single-handed assault on an armored spacecraft, but you can't figure out how to pin down your team." he laughed. "Do some fancy leadership-ish-type thing or something. I donno. Once she was back out of her father's shit books, she'd get personal comms for all of them so she wouldn't have to be running after her team."Didn't sign up to be a babysitter..."She decided the best place to start would be their room. As she approached, she heard moronic giggling. Yep, this was the place. She didn't even attempt to enter, not wanting to know what was going on in there. Instead she banged on the door as hard as she could until the giggling subsided slightly."Alright kids, it's showtime! Get ur asses down to the hanger or we're leaving you behind!" And she left before they had a chance to reply, heading for the hanger.

Freya was waiting when they entered the room. The brief covered everything from radio frequencies to attack strategy, and basically repeated what had already been planned. Cliff and Freya were to raise hell on the ship while Atilla and Silver prevented the arrival of any reinforcements.(see here: http://forums.starfox-online.net/index.php?topic=5490.690 )After just under an hour, Silver made his closing statement."Now remember: we go in quiet, raise all the chaos we can when we strike, then get out of there fast. Tiberius
(Alright troops! Lets move out! Where did we leave off? I need a status report on all characters and people)EDIT: I saw someone else had the same idea. It irritates me that the person didnt bother to look and see if someone already took his idea. But if that still goes on, which I dont mind, I still expect this RP to going smooth unless it is beyond control. Hopefully, we can rejumpstart this rp. Asper Sarnoff
Odin also entered the hangar, carrying his bag casually over his right shoulder."It's good to be back in action." He grumbled satisfied as he stuffed the bag inside the bomb bay of his Wolfen X and closed to door after it. Just after he had ensured it was properly closed, he started closely inspecting his fighter, readying it for flight.

Showtime 1-1
(sorry for the massive block of text guys, I just like to write jet fighter scenes.)Silver hopped up into the Cockpit of the StarCat and pulled his helmet on. He flicked on the master switches, and the avionics and HUD came online. He plugged in his oxygen mask and headset. The StarCat's cockpit was pressurized, but Silver still wore the mask, partially because it would keep him alive should the large canopy get hit, but mostly because it had his radio microphone in it. He reached over the the engine controls.ignition switch armed, combustion chamber... primed, thottle to low speed idle, thrust sync off. Stater toggle... on.The Ion Drive began to spool up.Positive RPM gain, watch for lightoff... there-the combustion chamber pressure jumped, and the RPM began to build steadily.Starter toggle off, confirm positive RPM, oil pressure... green, combustion pressure... green. Starter feed to "onboard".With the first engine at idle, Silver repeated the process for engine two. Despite the recent transplant, it responded perfectly. He moved both throttles forward to the first detente, and the engines roared a bit louder....thrust sync on, FOD gates closed, weapons safe, all engine instruments... green, hydraulic pressure normal. He cycled the joystick and rudder pedals and watched the control surfaces to ensure they were free and clear. As he finished, three blue lights ignited below the throttle quadrant, indicating the three G-diffusers were online and ready in standby. Silver switched to the intercom frequency."Silver's Up"Freya replied, "Silver, you'll be the last to launch. Follow Atilla to port three. I've already called for clearance.""Roger."Silver released the breaks and the big Cat began to roll forward. He tapped the breaks on the way out to ensure they were working fine, then proceeded to taxi for takeoff.wings locked back, diffusers set standby, FOD gates closed, radar on standby. He saw Atilla's CDF fighter pull out in front of him, and began to follow the hovering craft to launch. He watched the Huntress and Cliff's big fighter blast into space, then held back while Atilla lined up and launched. Then it was his turn.Launching the Starcat was much more exciting then just puching the throttles forward. The wheels bumped over the ribbed floor of Launch Corridor 3, not designed for the launch of wheeled craft. The StarCat could handle it anyway. Silver closed the canopy, then braked to a stop, facing the expanse of space.FOD gates open, Thrust sync on, G-diffusers standby, brakes on, wings forward. The wings slowly swung forward, then locked into position.here we go.He pushed both throttles forward all the way. The Engine note went from a roar to a scream, and the big Cat kneeled down under the thrust. Silver released the breaks. The StarCat bounded forward, shoving Silver back into his seat. He held the stick centered and the throttles forward, and the ship blasted into it's element.Gear up and locked, throttles back, gauges green, wings variable, diffusers standby, radar on search, weapons safe, FOD gates open and locked. He pulled a slow, lazy barrel roll, then turned to intercept the others. Asper Sarnoff
(sorry for the massive block of text guys, I just like to write jet fighter scenes.)(Who doesn't?)Odin finished strapping himself down into the seats of the Dragon and immediatly set to work starting the massive and complicated engines of the fighter. While he loved the extra thrust, the temperamental nature of these engines were starting to get on his nerves. He finished priming the engines and tried to ignite the main engine. A loud cough came before it all settled into a slowly churning cyclus as the starter struggled to bring the engine up to sufficent revs."Oh come on you son of a..." Odin growled, before the revs started to drop again, and the engine came close to stalling. "No, no! I didn't mean it baby! Come on girl! You can do it!" He mumbled to the machine. Trying to persuade it to start. The revs started ro rise again, and finally came the roar that signaled it had finally started. Odin let out a sigh of relief while it reved up a little before easing down to idle speed. The seconday engines more easily started by the KERS driven by the main engine. He opened up a frequency to Tiberius at the HUD. "Okay Tiberius, if I'm going to sit idling here for more than a few minutes, I'll have lost years sallary in fuel. Let's get going." He said, joking about the dreadfull fuel consumption the custom engine had.
Fira-Astrali
Freya was first out of the gate. The Huntress shot from the station, pressing its pilot into the seat. She allowed herself a few extra seconds of distance, before pulling an easy turn and coming back around to her team. Silver barrel rolled, and regrouped. Few words were exchanged within the group, they had talked this to death, now it was time for action. Freya reviewed the co-ordinates that her father had downloaded into the Huntress just a few hours earlier. It was the last known location of their target. A stab of displeasure ran through her. This was something he should have given her personally, but he`d linked it to her ship via his personal drive. Was he so displeased that he wasn`t even talking to her? A quick calculation in her head to make up for elapsed time, and they were ready to go. She shot off, wanting the mission to being. The others knew to follow.
