"I've sen him fly, we both managed to attend the Corneria Flight School, and passed. I've seen him in action. He's good. Real good."..."Okay. As Attila allready knows, we'll be leaving for Sargasso tomorrow 18.00. We'll meet up outside the Cornerian stadium 17.30. Bring everything you'll need, and prepare your fighters for space travel." She said before she turned around and walked out. Waving them goodbye as she left the thick, stinking air of the palace and got out into fresh air again."Great he leaves us hanging."Kari muttered sighing "I don't suppose you can drive me home?"Kari asked Odin ignoring her communicator."Sure thing." Odin replied as they left the bar and headed for his car. Luckily, the security system hadn't let him down, and it was still there. He walked up to the right side and opened the door for her. "Watch your head." he warned Kari as she got in. He closed the door behind her, walked around and got in on the drivers side. It was quite incredible that a car this big on the outside could be this small on the inside. "Get your seatbelts on." He said as he put on his own, put the keys in the ignition and started it.The trip out to the McCloud ranch went quite slowly, at least by Odins standards. He didn't need to attract any attention from the authorities now, and neither did he want to jepardise the sequrity of his passenger.The left the road and crunched the along the gravelroads up to the ranch, passing by a gate which opened in front of them, and then closed behidn them. He parked just outside the main building, along a line of other cars standing there. As he got out, a quick look told him none of them was as fast as his, and that gave him a good, warm feeling in his gut."Lead on" He said as he closed the passenger door behind Kari and followed after her. Odin replied interested as he studied the architecture of the mansion. It was much smaller than his fathers castle on Fichinia, but it didn't feel... hostile like that did. There was no statues of gargoyles or dragons hissing at him from every corner. It was well light up, in comparison to the murky shades of the castle. He remembered many years ago, when just walking trough the dark, endless coridors had given him nightmares when he went to bed. It was like an architectual image of his father. Impressive, strong and free of any imperfection, but dark, and cold as ice.He wasn't sure what to say when he would meet Fox McCloud himself. The guy was a legend, having lead an elite team of mercenaries which had almost singlehandely turned several wars around. He weren't sure what to expect, but he wasn't nervous either. Tiberius ran in. "Whats going on?" asked Fox. "Executors! They've found us!" A wall exploded nearby. The dust settled to reveal a Cormerian troop with some sort of device on it's neck. He mumbled silently as he clapped the fenders softly and broke into a run for Kari's Cloudrunner. He hoped they stuck to standard protocols and confiscated it as evidence instead of blowing it up. He threw a quick glance over his shoulder, and saw several troop transports thunder trough the gates and up to the mansion, and among them were several tanks. Mostly light Cheetah assault tanks, but also the hulking shape of a Landmaster mark IV. The missile pods on their backs told him they were prepared for a ground to air attack. If they didn't get up in the air soon, they would all be done for.Odin finally reached the Cloudrunner and leaped up into the cockpit. He started to strap himself down into the seat of the co-pilot. A missile hit one of the troop transports, the resulting explosion lifted it clear of the ground in an inferno of flames before it dumped back down to the ground again after a second or two, effectively blocking the path between two of the ranchs buildings. "That ought to buy us some time." Odin growled to himself, only to be proven wrong moments later, when the Landmaster came crashing trough, grinding the transport into scrapmetal as it forced it's way to its target. "Get us out of here Kari." He spoke, still with a calm voice.At 17:30 hours, Cliff and Attila got ready to go to Sargasso Station."Where's Freya?" asked Cliff."I dunno..." said Attila.They waited at the stadium for Freya.Moments later, Freya's Wolfen swept down from the sky and had soon landed on the parking lot outside the stadium. As she got out and walked up to meet her two crewmembers, it became obvious to them she have had a long night. She had been searching high and low for a fourth member, one that could finally bring them up to the number of their main rivals.She had also followed an advice her father had given her, and tried to seek out a certain Odin Douglas, a wolf which hid somewhere on this planet. But once she had gotten to the house address she had been given, it had been empty."Are you ready?" She asked them, already knowing the answer. One didn't become a mercenary if one weren't "ready" when needed. "We'll be using the warp gate in the souther hemisphere.
