bidding her last farewells to her military base renovated home Kari  took to the skies."keep our tail Clear Odin!" she  said as she headed for orbit  once the  commnications and navagation systems came online she contacted the great Fox "this is Cloud 9 we're heading for orbit will dock with great Fox when you get here."

Krystal sighed as she whacthed the morning patrol of Cerinian Defence fighters fly past the palace they were light fighters designd only for quick patrol duties with little defence or offencibe weapons  built to rely on speed and advanced scanners to pinpoint  problems for the heavier fighters should a threat be found.

Odin looked behind them as the charges detonated and ripped the buildings apart like they were made of cardboard. Only a few of the outer buildings survived. And to Odins joy, he could see his car had been sheltered from the blast.

But now, he had more pressing concers. The tanks down on the ground started to elevate their anti-air missiles up to the skies. At the speed they were climbing, they wouldn't get many shots, but still...

Only the Landmaster fired. A cloud of smoke emitted and hid the tank as the missileaccelerated after them.

"Evasive action." He told Kari as he pressed a series of buttons, opening hatches and letting out lots of small strips of aluminum foil, meant to confuse the missiles targeting system.

TURN THE GUN AROUND!" Kari shouted as she hit the after burners and started turning  rapidly.

[Tiberius]

Tiberius and Fox got into orbit. He was in his Arwing and started to pick off bogeys while Fox got the craft in the Great Fox.

(I honestly have no clue how the Cloudrunner is built, so I was figuring it had fixed gun emplacements.)

Odin started turning the turrets around, facing their six. The missile had been fooled by the old trick, and detonated with an explosion that sent shockwaves trough the craft. "I doubt they'll scramble us with fighters. It takes an average of 7 minutes for a CDF squadron to get airborne, and the nearest military airport is another 10 minuttes of hard flight away. We'll be long gone by then."

Alex walked into the bridge of the great fox "Serena?"She called out to someone in the room.

A hologram of a white vixen appeared next to Alex "Yes Alex what is  it I'm very familair with the great fox?"Serena the Cerinian Smart Ai asked the  Wolf/Vixen hybrid.

"Just keep that tail clear."Kari replied calming down.  She landed the tandam seat Clouderunner in the great Fox and sighed with releif once the engines died down.

Odin grabbed hold of his bag and jumped out onto the flight deck of the Great Fox. He was almost shivering with excitement. This was it, the ship he had read and heard so much about. He wanted to go around, explore it, and uncover all its secrets. But that would have to wait untill they were out of Cornerian orbit.

(It's late evening here now, Odin will just follow along in awe for the moment. Julius, you can lead on the journey to Sargasso if you want. G'night!)

Fox landed and reported to the bridge. Tiberius soon after. "It's official. The government has Kari and Dad's heads up for bounty. Malon's now the Supreme Ruler and General. I hacked their compters and found something horrible." He a plugged a small device into the monitor. It showed a Cornerian's body. Then revealing a layer underneath that had a fake skeleton. Underneath that was their new enemy. A silver endo skeleton that could be made for any lifeform. "Terminators. And Malon has a direct interface with them. They were originally Cornerian troops. But Malon took their bodies, salavaged the important parts like the brain skin and heart, reprogramming them to be mindless peons. They're his soldiers. And they're out for any resistance." said Tiberius. Fox stared in awe. The mechanical marvel was astonishing yet terrifying.

Alex and KAri stared wide eyed at what Tiberius had found.

"Oh my this is horrible!"Serena explained thinking "But since they are mechanical that may give me a  advantage over them If you could get one of my data chips into their Processors  I might be able to  take over such Primitive hardware by Cerinian standard although Cerinians would never do such a thing to any poor creature..."Serena muttered. "But for now"She turned to Fox "Our course is set back for my home world Correct?"she asked FOx.

[Tiberius]

"Y- Yeah. Set a course for Cerinia." he said. "The only way you can hack in is by getting directly to the center. There is only one off switch except for destroying them, which are both near impossible. They're like tanks, only faster, smaller, and quieter. You can't hack it unless you can salvage it. Even then, the chips have self destruct programs that make them useless."

[Kursed]

"Course laid in would you like to Give the final word ,Sir?"Serena asked.

"So I was only the begining."Alex muttred remembering all to well the lab she was created in by Malone's scientist.

[Tiberius]

"Just get us out of here, Serena." said Fox

"No, Alex. This doesent connect with you at all." he said. Tiberius walked down to his quarters.

"Yes it Does, Tiberius although I Am My own person I was one of MAlon's experiments although thanks to your mother i was freed."Alex replied she looked a lot better her ears were perked up eyes not drowsey looking and  her voice was back to normal"Thankfully they used all the Dna samples up on me hopeing I'd be some ulitmate warrior or something.

"Right Sir don't need to be touchy about it I've been jamming malon's  sensors for awhile now."serena said enganging the jump drive.

Kari almost slumped into a chair thinking.

The new Star Wolf team headed for Sargasso.

"Are we there yet?" Cliff asked over the comm channel.

"No!" his teammates replied.

"Are we there yet?" Cliff asked over the comm channel again.

"For the last time, NO!" his teammates replied.

As they cruised to the private orbital gate, they each shelled out some credits, and the gate guards let them through.  They were warped to the Sargasso Region, and the headed towards the Sargasso station, now visible to them in the distance.

"Corneria City's...BUTTHEADS!" sang Cliff over the comm channel.

"You know, calling the citizens of Corneria City 'buttheads', makes you a butthead as well, since you're from there." Attila reminded Cliff.

Cliff made a farting noise in response to Attila.  They finally docked at the Sargasso Station, inside the bay.  "Man, this place has changed since Uncle Fox told me about it." said Cliff, looking around.

(Where have you got the idea that Cerenia techology is superior to everything else Kursed? Last time I checked, the only lead we have, Krystal, was a skimpely clad vixen with some kind of primitive staff running around in the jungle.

I chose to belive Cerenia is somewhat similar to Disneys Atlantis, tribal and old fashioned, but blessed with some kind of magic energy source.)

"Cerenia? Wasn't we supposed to go to Fichinia first?" Odin growled as he dropped his bag down on the floor before he crossed his arms. He didn't like the direction things were taking. He had hoped to leave Corneria quietly, and sneak back in under the radar if the need arose. But their grand finale had now surely made him wanted by the Interpol, there would surely be a prize on his head from now on.

"Serena, or whatever they called you, where is my room?" He asked the holographic image of the vixen.

She didn't answer, but pointed him to a doorway leading out of the room, and seemingly slooping down to the lower deck. "Thanks." He noted as he slung the bag across his back again and marched out.

His room was as he had expected. Clean and tidy, with a small bath, but not overly spacious. He dropped his bag in front of his bed and started to excamine the rooms closely. Checking for micro cameras and other surveilance equipment.

After around 10 minutes, he was satisfied and dumped down into the office chair in front of the workdesk. "Serena, could you project a holograpic map of the Great Fox for me?" He said out loud, and only a second after, a 3-dimensional model of the great fox appeared in front of him. As he streetched out his finger and touched the various walls, they disappeared and showed the room behind.

He was satisfied to find a large excersising room nearby. The long space travels could make one soft, and that was something he couldn't afford. Not in this profession.

He decided to go and work out a little while the others rested. He had still a lot of excess energy he needed to get out. He changed into his less restrictive training gear and headed out.

The new Star Wolf team headed for Sargasso.

As Freya jumped out of the Wolfen and made contact with the cold steelfloor of Sargasso space station, a shiver ran trough her. This was it, her only real home in this gigantic universe.

Several apes, reptiles and a handfull of other species started to swar around her and her flightmates fighters. Coupling them with grooves in the floor, which imediatly started draggin the aircrafts into the massive hangar room. She looked back at Cliff and Attila, which looked slightly uncomfortable surrounded by henchmen aiming at them with their blasters.

"That's enough." She spoke out loud. "They're the new members of Starwolf, and shall be treated with utmost respect." As soon as she had finished her sentence, the henchmen stood down and holstered their weapons again. "Yes my lady." Hissed a large lizard as he bowed down for her. "Your father awaits you."

She gave him a confirmed nod before she signaled Cliff and Attila to followe her into the inner levels of the massive station.

As she walked on the way to her fathers quarters, she were getting a little bit nervous. What would her father say when she arrived with only two pilots, one of them a moron at that? She weren't sure if she could bear the cold gaze Wolf sent her whenever she had dissapointed him greatly. All she wanted was a warm, fatherly smile. Was that to much to ask?

After a minute or two, they had reached the door which lead into Wolf's office. After a few seconds of gathering courage, she lifted her hand and knocked on the heavy oakdoor, four times, two heavy, two light.

From the other side, she could hear him respond. "Come in Freya." She grabbed hold of the know, turned it slowly around before she opened the door and stepped in, closely followed by Cliff an Attila.

Behind the wooden desk at the other end of the room, Wolf roose up and leaned onto his fists on the table. The only mark age had put on him where that much of his facial fur had became white, apart from that, he could have been 20 years younger than he were. "Father." Freya started, struggling to keep her voice steady. "I have found two good pilots that will help me reform our squadron, to make Starwolf rise from the ashes once more."

Wolf put his arms behind his back and marched around the table and up to them. Hard muscles bulged under the tailored suit, he didn't have to look up to come eye to eye with Cliff even.

"And who are you?" He started talking with a deep, hoarse voice to Cliff and Attila.

"Fox, Sir If i may suggest something I think you should rest it's been a hard day on you."Serena suggested.

(I don't find it to be any harder to see than the blue you use for Krystal. I guess I'll just post the icon instead whenever he is alone.

Current Lylat tech? Well, as the entire SF universe is based in the Lylat system, that equals everything.)

Odin turned in the doorway and looked at the image that had appered along with the holographic map. "I'm getting to know the ship. Those who never watch their surroundings are easy prey. Now, if you would excuse me." He said as he turned around again and left his room.

He made his way to the training room. He figured only one hour would be enough for this time as he got up on one of the treadmills and started jogging lightly to warm up. He soon got into the shape again, and started to let his mind drift trough what had happened that day. How just a small coincidence, such as him scrapping with that bulldog, had gotten him involved in Starfox, how he was now a wanted man just because of that. The discussion they had back at The Hog. And as he tought of that bar again, another event forced its way into his toughts again.

It was that shewolf he had meet outside, he hadn't even heard her speak, it had just been a moment they shared in some strange way. He couldn't understand how he still remembered her. She was just another person among several millions.

But the image of her beautifull features, those deep, blue eyes... He shook his head as to rid himself of these toughts. If he had still been on Corneria, he could have tracked her down, maybe it would have lead to a date, and then something more? Now he would never know. He would probably never see her again.

As he started to drift back to the reality, he realised he had been jogging for almost half an hour, and was drenched in sweat. He stopped the treadmill and got off. Next up was the weights. He figured he would work with them for about 20 minutes before he would stretch out, and then go and take a well deserved shower.

(well Kew is obvisouly not in Lylat.) Kari looked over herself "Dad i'm going to the gym."SHe muttered heading towards her room to get into her workout clothes.

"Fox, Sir If i may suggest something I think you should rest it's been a hard day on you."Serena suggested.

"Alright. I'm going to get some rest." Fox went up to his room and layed down, looking up at the ceiling. He wished he could be with Krystal now, and rest well. Instead, he was uneasy about being alone yet again.

Tiberius was down below in the gym. He watched Kari walk in as he was doing pull ups in the ceiling. He was on one of the structual pylons.

With an exhausted groan, Odin lifted the weights above his head again, and then hung it up on the rack on the bench. He sat up and wiped the sweat away from his face with the back of his hand. Both Tiberius and Kari had also showed up, and were now busy working out as well. It was sort of comforting that he wasn't the only one who took keeping in shape ceriously on board. There would sooner or later be a time when he had to rely on someone else than himself to stay alive.

"Now." He started. "As we're on our way to Cerenia, could you indulge me in whatever plans you have?"

With an exhausted groan, Odin lifted the weights above his head again, and then hung it up on the rack on the bench. He sat up and wiped the sweat away from his face with the back of his hand. Both Tiberius and Kari had also showed up, and were now busy working out as well. It was sort of comforting that he wasn't the only one who took keeping in shape ceriously on board. There would sooner or later be a time when he had to rely on someone else than himself to stay alive.

"Now." He started. "As we're on our way to Cerenia, could you indulge me in whatever plans you have?"

"We're  probly going to pickup our mother then head to Fichina unles ,dad has plans to stay on Cerinia."Kari explained as she  did some bench presses she had on a  simple workout leotard that didn't show her upper chest very well ,but showed her fined towned arms  thighs and lower legs and the various marking she had similair to her mothers marked onto her by her  mothe when she was young.

Tiberius dropped to the floor on his feet landing perfectly. "Can't wait until we can get hold of some new weapons."
