Let me Explain. There are 2 Viruses ( AND )that support each other if they are without a host.

When they discover a potienal  first host, they split apart, racing  to get inside.  Who  wins will infect that person. The other goes through Hibernation until this part is united with the other part after that part infects the host. After it had done it job, it spawns an  gene that Fits when one of our DNA's Strands Get  KNOCKED off by sunlight. It fits right in and disguises itself as an normal gene. Then when they  repairers  leave, the virus now is making that cell grow like cancer, infecting nearby cells, As it begins to progress, the gene nows splits open to reveal its own set of DNA and Infects the Residentary DNA, Modifying it to fit its choice. The  transformation of the cells,  TCells doesn't  destroy because that DNA had disguised itself, Making you  or .

If you got the original source, it will be more random you can be, although rare, be a female or a male .

But if it was from a person , then you will look exactly like that person.

The virus makes you into an exact copy of the guy/gal that infected you, althrough if you are infected by the virus´ original source (whatever it is) there is a rare chance you become a male version of Krystal or a female version of Fox. You can only become infected if you get exposed to the virus (you mentioned the diferent ways, I understood that part). (Also, during the inital phase of the infection you go around trying to infect others[?])
