RPGmaster2000
Do you think this is a good purchase? Harddisk: 20 GB Processor: Intel Celeron 1.6 GHz Ram-Memory: 256 MB (I'll add about 256 mb more.) Motherboard: Support for 3 GHz processors Sound and Network cards installed. This is what i have now: Harddisk: 8 GB + 6 GB Processor: Intel Celeron 467 MHz Ram-memory: 384 MB Motherboard: I dunno, but it is half broken, because of a broken disc. Sound and Networkcards installed. It will be around 215 dollars, so do you think it's worth it?

XG Fox
Do you think this is a good purchase? Harddisk: 20 GB Processor: Intel Celeron 1.6 GHz Ram-Memory: 256 MB (I'll add about 256 mb more.) You're going from 14 GB HD space to 20 GB (+4 GB) 467 MHz to 1.6 GHz (BIG jump there) RAM will own pretty well... 512 MB in the end, correct? SUPPORT = keyword for the motherboard. GETTING = the technicality there. Sound and network cards... must haves. Yeah, you should be doing pretty good there. But then again... I paid around a whopping $38 to COMPLETELY upgrade my compy. All I had to buy was a CPU case. We had everything else, I originally had a 133 MHz, and my dad got a motherboard (AOpen AK-73 Pro series with integrated soundcard, came with AOpen video card) with an AMD Duron 1 GHz along for the ride. A NEW 20 GB hard drive in the basement upped my HD space from 4 GB to 24 GB, and I recently bought an 80 GB drive to replace the 4 GB. 100 GB!!!! Monitor, my dad got it from work. 17" flatscreen now hanging on my wall. I've also got a 48X CD burner drive. That would be my compy.
RPGmaster2000
Ok, so i guess it's worth it, since my current comp is about 3 times slower than it should be, since the motherboard got a bit wrecked. Takes about 3 minutes to star Firefox the first time and 5 minutes to start the actual comp. Anyway, i'll also be getting a synth for the computer, so i can finally do some music. I'll try do some techno remixes of Star Fox/ Other game soundtracks when getting it. It's about 130 dollars i think. Anyway, i'm getting way off-topic... i'll get the new comp. XG Fox
TECHNO REMIXES, did you say????? YAHOO! That'll be awesome! My computer takes <10 seconds to start Firefox and about 1 minute to start up completely, at least to the Windows logon screen.
