Vy'drach
I'm curious as to what attracted you to our vixen of honour, there is the always applicable and acceptable answer of because she is physically attractive, but many characters are physically attractive and don't get such a fan base as Krystal, I feel for most it is something more than that, and I am anxious to hear what that is. I personally took a shine to Krystal because in her they captured something I scarcely see and know is very hard to portray well, and they did it perfectly with her, the look of innocence in a character that isn't a young child.Oh, and if your answer is only that she's attractive, go into a bit more detail, such as what you find attractive about her, but please, keep it clean, lets try not to tarnish my mental image of her innocence, shall we? Samantha Weltzin
Although I'm actually more in the "ambivalent" category than the "like" category with Krystal, what attracted her to me the most is her potential as a character. True, it's been constantly squashed by Nintendo's bad writers, but she has the potential to be really cool. For instance: She's a telepath. That, in itself, is kinda cool, but she could use it for such awesome things. Since she can read minds, she should be able to tell exactly what her opponent's next planned move is and be able to counter it with ease. On the other side of her telepathy, she could send a sudden mental signal to disorient someone, which would give an intense advantage to her as long as that stunned moment lasted. Not only could she use her telepathy to further her own combat abilities, but she could also be a great communicator for her team so that their signals wouldn't be intercepted. Relaying thoughts and whatnot could be invaluable if the enemy had tuned in to the StarFox members' channel.Another cool thing about her that has great potential but is underplayed is her choice of weaponry. Sure, she can fire guns and stuff, but everyone on the StarFox team can do that. However, she has that staff, which is quite unusual for a video game character since most prefer swords, axes, hammers, or guns. Add to that the magical abilities of the staff and the apparent customization of those abilities, and you've got a winning deal.Another somewhat related point is that Krystal brings magic to an otherwise entirely sci-fi universe. She, in theory, has the character power to completely change the laws of the StarFox universe as we knew them.Krystal has an air of mystery around her, which is cool, but there are -never- any hints given as to what happened in her past. Not even minor details. I can understand searching for things and not finding them, and her coming to terms with the fact that she'll never find the answers, but why is she not searching the galaxy for answers as she was before Adventures started? I mean, yes, there are threats to the Lylat system every year or two, but what about all that downtime? Anyway, not a big rant. Just a thought.Of course, my beef with her, and this is where the "ambivalent" part comes in, is that she doesn't live up to -any- of this potential. She's blue, she's hot, she has a British accent, and she apparently has multiple personality disorder if the ending of Adventures and the entirety of Command are to be believed. That's all we know about her.
Vy'drach
Well said, Samantha, well said, however, about her past, we can garner that Andross had a part in if not was the cause of Cerinia's destruction, since before he pushed her into the beam that froze her in the crystal, she says, "It's you!", hinting that she knows him from a prior occurrence, and since he needed Sauria's magic to regenerate himself fully, he likely drained Cerinia as well since it undoubtedly is also a source of magic. There is still large gaps in her past however.

There is still large gaps in her past however.Right. We could logically make those jumps, but none of that was ever explicitly stated. I think Nintendo intended to reveal why she said, "It's you!" at one point, but I also imagine they forgot to do so.We can't be certain he had anything to do with Cerinia, though, because we don't know how she came to be the sole survivor. If she was off-planet when it was wiped out, she never would have met him. The fact also remains that she was looking for "answers," not "revenge," so she probably didn't make the link to Andross from Cerinia. All we can assume is that she met him at some prior time or at least heard of him. After all, he -was- the biggest threat to the Lylat system a couple of times, and she seems to have some technological stuff going on, so she may have heard about him through whatever "news" program the Lylat System uses. But again, this is just conjecture, and we have no way of knowing without further evidence.
SlyJedi
I like her mainly because of her character itself. Good looks alone do not make a memorable character, it is personality and actions which get me to like a character. Aside from the fact that she is Fox's love interest and a great addition to StarFox (as FoXXX said), she is a good fighter. Not to mention, a very likable character in herself. She perhaps is my second favorite StarFox character next to Fox (Falco would be third). And I guess her ambiguous history is a plus as well, adding more interest. That's all we know about her.Agree completely, and I like the inocence she still has (or that I think she has). I mean, she looks good, but she is good. I do not know why in Command she appears as someone cold and revengeful. Yes - it was Fox´s fault and he and nobody else blew up their relationship; but why she is so cold? Of course I would understand sadness and hatred towards Fox, but she changed completely into a different person... If you think about it, she even looks manipulative (or so I found her to be in Command).Command aside, I think she is kind, brave, and has a strong will. I mean...Her kind and caring nature , she gave up the search for her parents to save a entire planet who knows if she had lived there or not. the fact that she did that and the fact she seem to be abel to defend herself really got to me.This too . Sabre
Bewbs!jk. For me it's a blue space fox with tribal gear that is pulled off without being silly. As others have said in a different way, shes a strong character who doesn't have to be an uber macho tomboy ballbuster. There are few female characters I like at all. Other 2 being Mira Nova from Buzz Lightyear and Nene from Bubblegum Crisis. There are a few characters I like more. Booster is one, and design wise it's hard to beat the elites. Krogans top the scale in the male character department.
Vy'drach
Wow Sabre, I thought I was the only one who watched Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, when they showed it, and I dunno, I think a Yautja (Predator) looks more bad ass than a Krogan, but that's just my opinion and die hard fanboyism kicking in. Sabre
I think preds look kind of silly tbh. Space dredds = :Also good to see another Buzz Lightyear fan. I've seen most of the episodes, but can't find them on internet or dvd. I have some on VHS, but they are old. My favourite episodes have to be the one with the cleaning robots and the area 51 episode. Nos 4 A 2 is also good just for the pun and this scenehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvLfjlQ56xgAlso there is a holiday episode I keep seeing clips of, but never saw. Caat01
Her eyes, there is something on her eyes that attracted me the first time i saw her, the way she tickles her ears in some parts of the games, her British accent, especially the one of adventures, and she is hot obviously.
