Chrono Reaper
This contest was really a mess Asper, it may have been the first contest, but it should not have been so sloppy, it really started when Julius posted his own top three, now that was a small mistake, then Kursed and DRL posted their top three as well, that was when this contest started to become disorganized. I'm not angry at anyone but Kursed and DRL should have realized that Julius made a mistake, apparently, they did not get the PM? I'll have to be honest and tell you all that none of us really agreed on a final top three, in fact there really was no discussion, I got a PM from DRL and Julius but never from Kursed. Sorry to say that Kursed's post seems to be based on her own opinion mostly. I think that Kalikimaka should definitely be up there, at least in third place, sorry CR4CK3RW0LF but only one of the judges actually had you in their top three so it's not my opinion. Once again I don't blame anyone in particular, I just think that this contest could have been executed better than it actually was. I hope that the next contest will be more organized than this one was. What he said!I was suggesting next time do a poll thread so that EVERYONE can have a vote in it. That way its fair for everyone to decide who has the most popular vote.
CR4CK3RW0LF
@chrono, with some guidelines of course such as, no voting for yourselfand no creating accounts just to vote more than onceand stuff like that

Guest DRL
Well, I think it is time we declare, all judges officially, the winners.I still think I helped making this a mess through...
Asper Sarnoff
As stated earlier. I will still go with a board of judges to determine the winners. A voting system where everybody participates can too easily be exploited by people who ask around among the newer members to gather votes, or creating new accounts at other IP-adresses just to tip the scales in their favor.I will personally ensure that the judging process of all my future contest will go smoth as silk. The number of judges will be decreased to three, I will set up an easy to use point based system which will make it easier for me to add together the scores given by the judges, and finally declare a winner. Supposedly, one must leard from one´s own errors, I think...If you want me to judge again, I would happily do so, but I think I did not do very well in this case, so... Well, I am sure someone can do it better than me. :|

Asper Sarnoff
Well. Mr. Foxer, what is your final verdict?Since it seems the judges have been unable to coordinate a shared verdict themself, I see no other option but for everyone to name their favorites, and just give the contenders points based on how many lists they figured on, and how high they were on those lists. DRL, Julius and Kursed have given theirs.1th place: 9 points2nd place: 6 points3rd place: 3 pointsThat is, unless you are still working on coming to an agreement? Mr. Foxer
I will let the other three judges decide since I1. No longer understand what is going on2. Seem to be delaying the contestI will have to resign my position as a judge.
Asper Sarnoff
Very well then. Since Mr. Foxer resigned from his position as judge, the results are therefore.3rd Place: CR4CK3RW0LF2nd Place: Starfox mccloud151th Place: Asper SarnoffI also wish to congratulate, and thank, everyone else who participated. You all did a great job.caat01 for a troughfully solid submission. If this had been a time contest, he would have won with ease! But this was no rushed work. It was a troughfully solid submission, and a couple of great art pieces to go with it.Chrono Reaper stepped up to the challenge when it called. With in my opinion the best illustration of the lot, he would have been a true contender for the first price. What let him down was the short biography, which was one of the big focus points of this contest. Better luck next time!tyler had a submission with many interesting and unique tweaks in the biography. The ability to think outside the box is something I hold high in regard. Hold on to it.General Sladir, the submission of Sniper, would truly have been a nice member of the Starfox team to have. Anti-heroes are always cool in my book. Can't have to many of them!Vydrachs submission is simply badass. He actually reminds me of a Predator in that armor.Thomas Draco had a nice submission in Thomas Ryusui, the Draconian. His bio was long and detailed, which truly brought the character to life.I simply loved Kalikimakas submission. The bio was short, but also well written, and the illustration and idea of this character was simply breathtakingly good. I'd like to go out to the pub with this guy!Starfox mccloud15 took silver, and for good reason. While the bio could need a tune-up in terms of spelling and punctuation, it was informative, and had a good, classic backstory. The illustrations was really good!Braux's submission was also a good one. While the bio is short, it outlines a character with quite the potential. His illustration was also good, tough you should post a bigger scan next time to ease the judging process.CR4CK3RW0LF had a solid submission. No particular weak points to it, but very many good points. A bronze was well deserved. And then there is this upstart, Asper... I don't know what he have done to deserve this, but he somehow managed to run away with the first place, cakling manically. If you meet him, make sure to tell him that he should organize the next contest better!I also want to thank the judges. Julius, DRL, Kursed and Mr. Foxer. None of you had an easy job when I left the wheel in your hands like I did, but you still hung on to the end. You to Mr. Foxer. Thanks for standing ready when the community needed you. While this contest encountered a lot of trouble, it has also given us insight in how to better organize another one in the future. I'll take the lessons learned, and make sure to put them to good use. That's all for now. Thank you all!

CR4CK3RW0LF
id like to thank my folks, the academy, and all the little people that made this all possible! all joking aside, ill try harder to make a character specially MADE for the contest.. that is if we use the same guidelines again, how does a new team altogether sound? Guest DRL
I am happy I did not blow up everything with TNT! ...O-Kay, getting serious, I think every artist did a good job.Do not be disapointed because you did not win <-> this time. You can allways win in something...Well, sorry for being a lamer... But I wanted to congratulate everyone.Well done!
Starfox mccloud15
Crap, my grammar and punctuation... I'm such an ignorant douchebag...But well, thank you guys, I'll happily wait for the next contest, and all of you did and awesome job!...can you tell me my mistakes? Vy'drach
Thanks for the kind remarks on my pictures, they were more liked than I thought they would be. Shame I lost the gamble about the backstory, but what are you gonna do?Anyway, congratulations to the winners, certainly well deserved. And Asper, I am looking forward to the next contest.
