Vy'drach
So I was sitting here, writing my fanfic, when I looked at my sister's cat sleeping on the floor in my room, and I noticed something odd moving behind him, so I quickly jumped up, ran over, turned on the light in my bathroom, and saw it was an odd bug, looked a lot like a sea monkey. I scooped it up in the cup I use to rinse my mouth when I brush my teeth, and went and grabbed a jar, after relocating him to the jar, I decided I was going to keep him overnight. I decided to go on as I was, but then I started to wonder if the thing would survive overnight, and I would feel bad if he didn't, so I looked him up, deciding it had to be a type of centipede, since it had a ton of legs, and I was right, its a house centipede useful to keep around since they kill ants, spiders, cockroaches, and the like (I actually had an ant invasion here lately, so I imagine he followed em in.) So, I decided to let him out in my house, hoping he'd get into the vents and such rather than wander about, unfortunately, he booked it into my bathroom, and I lost sight of where he went as he ran under the door. Now I have the creepy crawly feelings of something going down my back or up my leg every few seconds. What kind of things have you guys found in the dead of night where you are?Oh, and this is the house centipede.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scutigera_coleoptrataCool looking bugs, but don't want em on me. Asper Sarnoff
I was sitting up late one night at my room about one and a half year ago. It was hot, so I had opened the windows to let in some fresh air. After a while. I noticed there was some flapping noises in the room. And sure enough, when I looked under the ceiling, I spotted a small black object flying around. I guessed it was just a bird, since they pop in sometimes, but no, it was a small bat.It was flying around the lamp in the roof, unable to find the window again and get out. All flying creatures have a very fragile build, so I knew I would do more harm than good trying to catch it and get it out.Since I was done with whatever I was working on, I turned of my laptop and the lights and went to bed. Hoping it would find its way out during the night. After a while, the flapping noise stopped, and I got up again to check if it had got out. I turned on the light a couple of minutes after the noise had disappeared, and found the bat hanging from one of the large support beams in the roof. It had wrapped its wings around itself and was now sleeping soundly, and despite having a face only a mother could love, I found it cute, and decided I would leave it hanging there to leave whenever he wanted instead of grabbing him and throwing him out myself. So I went to sleep again, and the next morning, the little fellow was gone. Vy'drach
Wow, that's pretty cool Asper, I always did like bats myself, though I doubt I'd want one in my room, they can have a tendency to bite.
DoctorAllosaurus
A long time ago, I remember I was cleaning my room one night, so I had alot of junk on my bed and decided to sleep on the floor. A couple minutes later a scorpion crawled onto my pillow (as I was resting on it) so I yelled and tossed the whole damn pillow out the window. I couldn't sleep after that so I decided to just finish cleaning my room.
DZComposer
I get Silverfish in my apartment. They eat paper and damage clothing, so I don't generally let them survive.m1Hjx18H6JA
Mr. Krystal
I don't get any bugs in my apartment, probably because there are so many spiders. I'm not afraid of the spiders, so it works out.

Star Fox Runner
I remember that I went on a trip for about a week a couple of years ago, and I had left without cleaning my room, all kinds of papers, clothes and junk on the floor.I came back and started cleaning it up, and I found 2 dead roaches underneath some of the papers, I freaked out because that was disgusting. To say the least, I have never let my room get that dirty ever again. Vy'drach
He he, I used to have a pet cockroach Runner, they're actually not that dirty for insects, meticulous groomers, and a scorpion on my pillow would freak me out too.

Guest DRL
Recently, in Buenos Aires there have been numerous bat sightings and a moth invasion.Moths usually enter our room. I do not fear them, nor I want them to die. But, sadly, the creatures tend to kamikaze themselves against the fan. Funny thing is that my brother wants to kill them, but usually runs like heck when one is close. Come on... They are annoying, but not harmful. As far as the unique encounters, well... Recently, I have had a dream about a big, brown spider. It did not hurt me, but it was simply scary. Then, these days I have been some or another moment brushing little small spiders off myself. Vy'drach
Sounds like its the season where spider egg sacks hatch down there DRL, and a bat and moth invasion? I'm sure they are connected as the bats are likely chasing the moths, and try not to have an open flame near at hand such as a candle, the moths will kamikaze into that too. Oh, and some good fun with the bats, throw small rocks into the air when you see them, it tricks them for a second and they chase it, and they never learn not to, good amusement for a few minutes. Not that I believe the invaders are of that type, I am just sharing a fact... But yeah they are chasing the moths, who in turn seem to be happy in our city.As for spiders, the funny thing is they have been annoying me since I had that dream. Next day to dream´s day: I was sitting in one of the bus´ seats. Then a little friend appeared in my hand. I brushed it off.Next day: I was sitting at a chair in a friend´s house. Again, I noticed a little spider taking a trip through my arm. Again I brushed it off.Next day: I was in my bed, I could not sleep, so I was awake. I feel something walking on my leg. An ant, a moth? No. A small little black spider. Again, I brushed it off.I wonder what will come next...
Sabre
I once had a spider big enough to make plastic bags rustle, I tried to catch it in a VHS box, but the spider was wider then the case is thick. Also that picture. Creepy.I've also had an infestation of little black beetles in my room once due to people leaving food on the floor upstairs. You could hear them crawling about. Still keeps me awake at nights. the way they hide in the shadows. *CringeAn odd one was a time a bunch of moths had gathered on a poster I have. I assume it was the light or something because they were all in 1 spot.

Guest DRL
Talking about spiders... When I was younger, we used to have a tree house. One day, however, I found my cat showing her Catjitsu skills against something. As soon as I was inside, it turned out to be a big, black, hairy spider. Which was now dead and dismembered, of course. (Also, thanks my cat still sleeps with me. She is a master of Catjutsu...)
Vy'drach
Gotta be careful with spiders, even if they're dead, the bite is a reflex and they can and will do it when dead.

It scared me out. But now these little ones annoy me. It is scary, as if they are... following me.As for the Moths, they could even be funny, if they were not so annoying... And suicidal. And the bats, let´s hope I do not run accidentaly with one .I've encountered a ghost or two in my life. Seriously.(?)... (!)

Showtime 1-1
We used to have to deal with Black Widow spiders at our old house. We saw some pretty big ones too, but the scariest was when I lifted the covers on my bed and saw one right were my feet would go. Needless to say, I didn't sleep in my bed for two weeks afterward.
