Vy'drach
Heh, I don't mind spiders, but when it comes to some that can be potentially life threatening, I do kill them, feel a little bad about em, but it very well could be them or me, but normal garden spiders I go out of my way not to harm, get em in a cup or jar, and let em go outside. Sarita
Yeah, I hear that Hurricane Katrina caused the Brown Widow Spiders to move out here.Brown widows? If they're from around here, they're Brown Recluses. From EMedicineHealth: Most spiders are absolutely harmless to humans. In fact, of the 20,000 different species of spiders that inhabit the Americas, only 60 are capable of biting humans. Within that small group, only four are known to be dangerous to humans: the brown recluse, the black widow, the hobo or aggressive house spider, and the yellow sac spider. Within this select group, only the brown recluse and the black widow spider have ever been associated with significant disease and very rare reports of death. Vy'drach
Heh, that sucks, in Kentucky, we had a paper wasp nest right outside our house in a tree in the front yard, they'd attack anyone that came near (except me, I was too small to be noticed by them at the time), and the exterminators told us just to spray em with a hose, they think its rain and just fly away. Mr. Krystal
I've encountered a ghost or two in my life. Seriously.I've always wanted to encounter an ACTUAL ghost. I want to attempt to punch one. Seriously, people only have two responses to ghosts: run away or attempt to communicate using random means. No-one's ever tried to confirm or deny their existence by actually grabbing at them or chasing THEM. They won't get fear from me!

Scientifically litterate people never encounter ghosts, for some reason... That's why I became a sceptic, to be ghost proof.
Guest DRL
I remember that when I was younger, our house had a large, and green, backyard. Thus, you could find some little SCARY things (such as donut-sized spiders) or harmlessly funny animals, such as Geckos. I loved the geckos, for some reason I found them to be funny. But there was the trouble that my mother was mortaly afraid of them, so whenever I found one I quickly took it far from the house... (It was that or they risked their own life inside.) Vy'drach
He he, I remember living in El Paso, Texas, and we were under constant attack from tarantulas and black widow spiders, and when it rained....frogs, yes, frogs by the bucket full in the desert. And of course there were the constant supplies of horned toads and rattlesnakes.

Vy'drach
Oh it gets very cold in the desert at night, colder than a German winter, so my dad says, as he was stationed in Germany while he was in the army.

Vy'drach
Could be worse, your state could catch fire at least 10 times each summer.
