StarFox - The Animated Series

Oh I see now. Thanks for the answer.

But by doing this frame by frame isn't there a high risk to get things you don't want to, modified from a frame to another?

Thats ye olde frame by frame. Imagine it not as drawing a new pic from scratch, but rather drawing it on a black board, rubbing out the bits you want to move and redrawing it. If changes become an issue, you can always go for the wobly style. It requires drawing everything, even stationary objects, twice. The ruselt is that you dont have to be as accurate. See rubarb or the flash series blue rabbit.

It's not entirely going by canon, but then again, neither do the games (Apparently in SNES, James disappeared into a black hole, and N64 he was 'killed' by Andross, etc.). But other than a few characters from Command and Assault, 90% of the cartoon series will be understood moreso by people who appreciated the first two games the most. The costumes, weapons, enemies/characters and even sound effects are mostly taken from the first two games, as well as story, plot references, and stuff like that. Perhaps a few things from the Nintendo Power comics as well (Fara, Pepper's lollipop thing, etc.).

She's blue in that picture really, just looks purple because of the sundown hue I put on it.

Nowadays, if it isn't 3d animation, it's either motion tweened, frame by frame, or a mixture of the two. Motion tweening is when you have an object that's only drawn once (like an arm, or a head or something) and the animation program just moves and rotates it around on the screen. You see this all the time in most flash cartoons, as it saves time having to draw a bunch of stuff.

I'm using as few of those motion tweens in my project as possible, if it isn't for making a looping animation scroll across the screen or something, chances are I'm doing it frame by frame.

Like Pivot?

How about Beltino instead:

Reminds me a bit of Stacy Keach (dude's an actor for those who don't know, now ya know). Wicked.

I figured I'd go ahead and post this part since it's been done for so long.

First time Fox Falco and Slippy meet the Star Wolf team in the academy hallways.

Enjoy.

Have I mentioned I love your use of filters and retro aesthetics? Because I do not think I can mention this enough.

Man, I'm just back from holiday, and that's quite a nice surprise!

Speaking about StarWolf, sorry if it was ever asked, but what about Andrew and Pigma?

Pigma's story in this show is more themed around James and Peppy during flashback storytelling. Andrew... feh, I dunno. I don't want to ruin anything, but I sat and thought about the possible combinations of Star Wolf members, and with the personalities I've given them, the Wolf/Leon/Panther line-up seems the most fitting.

Oh yeah I forgot about Pigma in flashback, I saw him. Yet he could have a role in the "present". But it's all up to you. As for Andrew, you could find something, since he is younger than others, just a trail...

Not sure if I want to se UNCLE ANDROOOOOOOOSSSSSSS!!!!!!11

In the series. On one hand, he is the kind of guy everyone

beats up TOO MUCH EASILY. On the other, Fred might make

him a really funny/interesting character.

As I was saying, the second episode begins about 9 or 10 years after the events of Star Fox 64 (completely ignoring any story from games after that one, of course), in a free, peaceful galaxy without the need of an elite space-fighter squadron.

Someone's not having a fun time.
