Fredryk Phox
Yeah, I'm doing the scenes a little out of order, but I'm just doing the different scenes whenever I feel like doing those certain ones in particular; getting the motivation for the specific ones I need to finish first is hard, so I'm just trying to be productive in the meantime. Here's another bit I just did about 20 minutes ago, this is just a base sketch of a 3/4 view of James McCloud running.First, I animate a stick figure running, then I trace little 'blobs' over the sticks for the biceps, forearms, knees, etc, then I trace over them in that blue ink basically sketching what the character's clothes and fur are going to be doing with the character bobbing up and down like that, then the next step is actually drawing the character's actual final, colored frames in.And so on, and so on.Yeah, it takes a lot of time up. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Are you planning on making a section for animation reels Fred?
Fredryk Phox
What exactly do you mean by "animation reels?" If you just mean animated samples from the cartoon, they'll probably end up on the Clips page, like the Star Wolf scene did.
Fredryk Phox
A conversation over dinner, between James and Vixy, in 1983 when they're both 18.James: "...and he didn't have any baking powder, so he used baking SODA. It completely ruined the cake, but you know what? He ate it. ALL of it."Vixy: "EEEUH, GROSS!! Jeeze, what some people will eat, I swear..." Fluxy
Their hair styles, along with their expressions to make it more realistic and ironical is just amazing, Fred. Especially with Vixy. Simply awesome. Especially with the idea of it's simplicity, it makes it nice and relaxed rather than all assaulted and all. This sorta stuff is just plain awesome. Even if you don't finish it, it shows in your art that you are having fun and a good time with it, and people seeing it have a good time too, it was an accomplishment. ^^

Fredryk Phox
please add a disgusting crunching sound as soon as she bites into that thing hahaOh, there's plenty of that.I sat and thought about the Star Fox guys eating hamburgers or cheese or something. The meat, the dairy products: Where would it come from? In my cartoon, all meat and dairy products come from these large purple crustacean bug things, and it's really, really gross. But of course, Lylatians wouldn't bat an eyelash at it if this is what they all eat.Lots of fun scenes revolving around fictional foods in this.
