You're talking about Jack Thompson there Julius, and he has some funny stories behind him, such as the guy that revoked his bar license, was a judge that was his best friend, and the human body does contain more blood than most think, and taking a head off would release a lot of it. And with the Aliens in AVP, the blood can spray a bit, but there wasn't really any gore, the closest to gore in it is ripping the inner mouth out of the Alien as it tries to bite you, and smashing its face off, which don't really do anything, smashing its face off actually looked rather cheesy and fake to me.

I do mind if people at a young age see violence ect. They are just so annoying... Like they themselves become violent ect, and they just become super annoying. I'm also super duperty against parents who think video games are bad for reasons I don't feel like explaining. Anyways, back to killing some Ridley...

Well that's why they're rated M for MATURE there pointing, and actually, the only real test of violence in games increasing aggression and violent tendencies proved that in young males, it actually lessened it, but in young females, it really did increase the tendencies, I forgot where that data was though, been a few years since I last saw it.

I know that's what the M is for, and they may have done research, and even if they are not more violent, they are more annoying...

edit: hehe, I think I now know what it is, hoho I think it's not age, but there's a certain group of game where the people who play them (not all) bother me, and whatever age they play the games, they begin to annoy me.

I wasn't saying you didn't know, just saying that its not the game's or game developer's fault that the kids see that, and I do agree, I hate the 8 year olds on FPS games online, little bastids drive me up the walls sometimes.

I actually remember when Jack Thompson was a big thing among gamers, and at...I believe J!nx.com, you could get toilet paper with his name printed down it repeatedly.

Games are the acid house, or video nasties of this generation. Basicly nostalgic old fools who think their childhood was best, and so everyone should have the same. It's all bollocks of course.

Actually, that was about 20 years ago, being a gamer is "trendy" now, its marketable, 80's to mid 90's, if you liked games, you lived in your basement and rarely saw the light of day, which is an odd thought to have in the 80's when gaming required you to go outside of your house.
