Okay, what is your favorite fantasy creature? Simple as that.

I'm stuck between dragons and werewolves, so I'll skip voting this time.

It was between ghosts or faeries for me.

Ghosts have that whole spooky factor going for them, and there's a lot that can be done with them, imagination-wise anyway. Plus, they're not overused today like vampires and such.

Making myself a living sexist joke, faeries were a close second for me for the simple reason that they're usually pretty and sparklyĀ

The Phoenix.

A symbol of hope, it can be reborn forever, thus never dying.Ā  It is the embodiment of hope, good, and strength.Ā  No wonder Professor Albus Percival Brian Dumbledore chose it as both a pet AND a symbol of his secret organization in the Harry Potter series.

Its cry is VERY pleasant, it has a reassuring sound to it.Ā  It can't be defeated, it is strong, fast, and free.Ā  I like the shape of the symbol of the fire-bird/phoenix, I've seen it on the hoods of Pontiacs, the backs of vests and jackets.Ā  It looks so awesome.

That was my first choice...until I saw the choice dragon.

I always imagine the dragon the ultimate creature because it can fly, breath fire, it has wisdom (in specific mythologies), massive defense with power over 9000, and yes, I would like to own and ride my own. I guess I'm sort of relating to the book series Eragon.

That and Waja, half dragon half wolf.

@ FoXXX

I never understood why ghosts scare people. I mean, there just dead people. Its not like they can hurt you, let alone touch you, unless its some sort of wraith or demon, but their very rare. And if your attacked by the later, you'd probably be dead before you even knew it was there.

Now a killer-horse, that would be scary. Flying through the air, kicking you in the face.
