Asper Sarnoff
I suggest we only post links to the picture. It's bad internet etiquette (Spell check?) to steal bandwidth.Well, since I'm the big Starwolf fan around, I'll give them a go. Is a Gray Wolf Canis lupus Is quite hard to place, but I'll guess he is a Veiled Chameleon Chamaeleo calyptratus I'll guess due to his accent, he is a Black Jaguar Panthera onca, since panther isn't really a species, but a color variation of many large cats. DZComposer
Seen the screenshot of one of DZComposers computers? http://dzcomposer.deviantart.com/art/Wolfen-s-Desktop-31543847Oh, gods that's old. lol. That's pre- Microsoft/Novell deal that made me leave SuSE.Also, I disagree with some of the posts.Firstly, "black panther" is not a species. It refers to several large cat species that have significant instances of melanism (black fur). Seeing as Panther seems to have a stereotypical "Latin Lover" personality, I'd go with a Jaguar, which is native to Central and South America. The pic above appears to be a leopard, but I am no expert.Secondly, I think Andross more resembles the late Albino Gorilla: http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/11/24/1069522538428.htmlAlso, Cottontail Rabbit isn't one species either. Ever heard of a Swamp Rabbit (think Jimmy Carter)? They're a type of cottontail. For Peppy, I'm leaning towards one of the Cape Hare subspecies. Guest Para Astaroth
= Jaguar with black recessive genes. I can't imagine how Panther would seem with the original jaguar coat; maybeh they would rename him to Jugaar or Jagua?
Falcory
Firstly, "black panther" is not a species. It refers to several large cat species that have significant instances of melanism (black fur). Seeing as Panther seems to have a stereotypical "Latin Lover" personality, I'd go with a Jaguar, which is native to Central and South America. Ever heard of a Swamp Rabbit (think Jimmy Carter)? They're a type of cottontail. For Peppy, I'm leaning towards one of the Cape Hare subspecies. You know I always wonder why we end up on either sides. Must be fate. Lol...Yes, Panthers can be several cats species. HOWEVER, Black Panthers can be identified as a single species, due to White Panthers which is basically a variation of albinism. And yes that is a Leopard. I picked that one because Panther Caroso's face is rather slim, as is the Leopard compared to the Jaguar. IMO Panther looks a bit more Puma-ish at times especially in the jaw area. But it can be killer trying to find a Black puma on the internet thus I took took the easier way out and found a pic of a black panther that resembled him.Andross does resemble a Gorilla sometimes....only one problem. Gorilla ears aren't pointed. Plus if you noticed Dash resembles a chimp in Command. (Although him having a tail questions things, so I dare not touch that one for now. Perhaps his mother or grandmother was of some other monkey species)And...dude? Cottontails ARE a species. There's a bunch of variations of them, but a species nonetheless. Placing EXACTLY what variation Peppy is kinda really hard to figure out, but I figure he must be a cottontail since we never see a Rabbit tuff sticking out. So either his tail was cut off or he keeps his cottontail under his jumpsuit.

XDDAlso Cape Dwarfs have been known to be aggressive little suckers, which fits Leon's personality perfectly.hey falcory wat was the lemur character cant see it on my computer It was Algy or translated in the final beta of Starfox 2: Andrew. I dunno why the Gif is acting up. I have problems seeing it too. Try right clicking on it, then press "Show Picture" from the menu.EDIT: Not only did I fix the gif but I found a good picture of a Panther Puma. I imagine it vent somewhat like this:Big boss game developer: "Okay, and this Leon dude is supposed to be a chameleon."Designer: "Ah I see. Clever wordplay there. Is he going to have horns? Like the Jacksons chameleon?"Big boss game designer: "Jacksons? Horns? Nah, that will make him look like a devil, and we don't want to get into religion here. Just make it a... chameleon... one without horns."Designer: "Well, the Veiled chameleon is also very well known, and perhaps the closest to "A" chameleon we can get." *Shows Big boss game developer a picture of a Veiled chameleon.*Big boss game designer: "Great! I don't think designing him as the most popular of the chameleon species were really on their agenda: They just wanted a Chameleon. But based of the designs they HAVE given him I'm going off my own opinion. Anyways that's your opinion and I respect it.
