"Go...  NOW!"  Marcus yelled to his unit and everyone ran into cover with their weapons draw and peeking slightly over them.  Marcus only walked without blinking, heart pounding, and sweat trinkling down the side of his forehead.  Here we go...  Marcus uneasily thought as he stood in front of the Helghan/Hellfurion soldiers traversing onto the camp.

Ves remained behind cover with a small squad while peering slightly around at Marcus.  "Dammit, Marcus...  Don't do anything rash...!"

Para stood behind a wall adjacent from the soldiers and his eyes remained locked in the direction of the soldiers closing in.  "Todd, if that's you, I sure hope you don't get gunned down like most unidentified people on Corneria did that day the Aparoids attacked..."  He muttered under his breath.

Lupe  whil getting into cover put the scarf into her pack tears were in here eyes  as she took cover drawling her laser battle rifle a weapon with better accuracy than her assault rifle.

Tala was down in cover setting her sniper rifle  to a higher setting, however both  she-wolves felt the same thing Para did their telepathy only increasing the feeling.

Krystal's eyes shot open..."No i can't be."She muttered, turning to regul her mouth hung open for a few seconds "Serena  will show you around I need to get back to the surface." Krystal said walking out of the infirmary room.

Serena whacthed Krystal go a bit of concern was showing on her face.  "Follow me dear."  She said turning to Regul

Todd was armed with a Helghast Combat Knife, a Helghast Machine Gun with its standard built in, .410 shotgun, a small supply of grenades, and a triple shot, multi burst trigger Helghast military handgun.

He could see movement in the camp.  He raised his rifle.

"On my signal...." he said, looking around quickly.

He paused, then said "FIRE!"

(If you guys want, Todd can be taken alive and captured by the ISA side)

"Err...  Sure...?"  Regul responded, a little concerned as to what was bothering Krystal, but decided to keep the question to herself.

"F***!  OPEN FIRE!!!!"  Ves shouted as all the soldiers in cover started firing at the Hellfurions/Helghast soldiers.  "YOU THREE!!!  FLANK LEFT!!!  YOU THREE!!!  FLANK RIGHT!!!"  He yelled to the soldiers on his left and right, then focused back on firing on the enemy.

Marcus leaned forward and started sprinting towards the Hellfurion/Helghast squad, opening fire onto them as his comrad's bullets whizzed by him and landing into two of the enemies' chests and necks, shooting blood out and gargling; hitting the ground instantly dead.

The last thought that went through his mind was Lupe's face.

Para sent a communications signal to Krystal and pulled out his rifle, pulling the lever and the gun placing a fresh round in the chamber.  "Krystal:  Report to the surface!!!  NOW!!!  I believe I have a confirmation of the leader of this enemy squad at the camp!!!"

Todd fired his rifle, providing suppressive fire.  He fired some covering fire, and he moved into the camp, in a zig-zag pattern.  He moved among the tents,thought he heard someone behind him, and aimed his rifle, but then saw there was no one there.  Todd moved through the camp, looking for Krystal...he could hear the gunshots, the soldiers dying. He couldn't join them just yet, he had to find Krystal...

as almost if on command  a drop pod  crashed into  the battle field stunning everyone they all stopped firing for a second, silence engulfed the battlefield until the  pod doors  flew off smashing into a helfurion solider, Inside the pod none other than Krystal the firing restarted bullets flying everywhere  pinging off the blue vixens shield  as she stepped towards the hellfurion helgast army  then sprayed a hail fire of lasers from her Gatling gun killing and severly injuring many of her enemies.

Lupe  use the long range fire of her battle rifle to  'snipe' off a a few enmies.

Tala continued to lay down sniper fire from her sniper rail gun.

As soldiers in Todd's unit were being drastically cut down, Todd had heard a drop pod crash onto the battlefield.  He went towards the noise, taking cover behind the sandbags.  He then saw Krystal, amongst the crew that was near the drop pod.  Todd made his way to a mounted MG behind the sandbags, being forced to stop twice, to avoid shrapnel from the "frag out" attacks.

"Careful, you idiots!" he grumbled, still too far from the mounted MG.

having taken out most of the hellfurion and  few helgast in front of her , dropped her now empty Gatling gun drawling her Psionic sword it's blue blade hummed as it cut through the air. Krystal's eyes began to glow, She started to head towards the Machine gun platform Todd was heading for and at a very quick speed.

Marcus dodged a few bullets, but the distraction he was hoping for wasn't working, so he ran back towards the cover Ves and the others were hiding behind; bullets whizzing by and puncturing holes in his ripped clothes.  He slid down beside Ves, panting from running full-out to the cover and holding his rifle to his chest.

"We-heh-heh-hehlll!!!  LOOK WHO DECIDED TO JOIN THE PINNED DOWN BUNCH!!!"  Ves joked out loud as shots were growing louder and louder.

"AHH, SHUTUP, VES!!!  HEH!!!  JUST FOCUS ON THE FIGHT AND NOT WHAT I'M DOING!!"

"WILCO!!"  Ves shouted back and resumed fire.

Para shot two more Helghast troops in the back and started running towards Krystal, whom was zipping around the battlefield cutting down Helghast and Hellfurion troops, each screaming and yelling as she cut through them; blood puddles were everywhere and the injured were covered in it.

"Krystal suggested I ask if you wanted to have some of the light armor she wears."Serena said to Regul as she led her down the hall.

Krystal continued to rip through enmie troops leaving many dismenber cut in half orother serious wounds as she  dashed toward the machine gun implacment.

Tala continued to snipe anyone she could get into her scope.

Lupe Also sniped  many wiht her battle rifle although she had to shoot a bit more since her battle rifle wasn't exactly a sniper rifle.

"Uhm...  I'd rather go like I am.  I think staying in my traditional Vektran Scout uniform is just enough."  Regul assured Serena and picked up her machine pistol, placing rounds in the clip and then slapping into the gun, placing the silencer on, and hooking it on around the front of her chest.  "May I leave so I can go help everyone down below?"

Marcus, Ves, and the unit were gaining the advantage of the enemy, surrounding them and killing each, one by one.  "TAKE A FEW HOSTAGE; KILL THE REST!!!"  Ves shouted over the gunfire and screams of the enemies diing.  As they were pushing in on the enemy, soldiers would aim their guns down at the severely injured enemies and execute them from either to the head or to the body.

Para stopped as he aimed at what seemed like Todd.  Everything slowed to almost a crawl as he thought to himself as to whether to shoot Todd or cripple him just enough to take him prisoner.  Sweat started to trinkle down his fur as he blinked several times and his breathing was more apparent to himself as it echoed somewhat in his ears.  Then, everything fast forward to normality and Para aimed at Todd's lower body, trying to get a shot at his legs, but the sandbags were obscuring his shot.

"Before you go you'd probly like to know krystal and I modified your uniform to the specifications of krystal's armor suit it should provide more protection you still have that energy sheild correct?"Serena replied.

(Sorry guys, I had to help my mom's friend move, all day long, now I know how the Snowhorn Tribe felt when General Scales forced them to work as slaves in the Darkice Mines).

For Todd, this wasn't going as well as planned.  He aimed his combat rifle at a group of ISA soldiers, but then his gun...jammed..."Ahh!  What the...!?"  Todd jerked the action of his rifle back and forth repeatedly.  He didn't see who was sneaking up behind him, ready to knock him out....

Para watched as he saw the person approach Todd from behind, his finger floating away from the trigger of his rifle.

"What energy shield?"  Regul questioned, looking over her shoulder as she started strapping grenades to her suit and zipping up her stealth vest, then pulling her reconisance mask over her face, which had the eyes cut out for sight, but pulled it back up above her muzzle so she could speak.  She then put her stealth goggles on over her eyes.

"The Personal shield  Krystal handed you." Serena replied simply putting her hands to her hips.

Krystal stood over Todd, panting...she kicked Todd while he was out.

Para, lowering his rifle and approaching Krystal in caution, looked down at the unconscious Todd McCloud with questions buzzing in his mind.  "That is Todd, is it not?"  He asked curiously, pointing down at him while Krystal was unbrainwashing him.

As the battle waged on, the remaining Helghast and Hellfurion troops were exterminated and the Vektran troops threw their arms up, shooting their rifles as they cheered in triumph; another win for the Vektrans.  But off in the distance, a Helghast sniper had positioned himself under a heep of sand and took aim upon the brown vulpine of the group, Ves.  Taking a deep breath, he pulled the trigger and a sound of thunder rumbled throughout the hills.  All the Vektran troops turned towards the sound and a bullet whizzed down the hill and landed into Ves' left chest cavity; his loud scream unbareable.  A stream of blood shot from his chest as his lifeless body slammed into the ground, sending sand flying around him and his rifle clacking down beside him, a sniper hole in the place where his heart would have been.  The troops turned around quickly, running to his aid and took a step back as they saw their fallen comrad lifeless on the ground.

Marcus slowly pushed through the croud and stood over Ves' dead body; his face stricken in sorrow.  He knelt down, reaching around Ves' neck and snapping his COG tags off, then handing them to a runner.  Sighing, he reached down and closed Ves' diolated, dead eyes as blood was seeping from the sides of his lips.

[Kursed]

"This is Todd MCcloud and that sniperis going down." krystal growled activating her sword  she dashed off towards the sniper as another round was shot at her it pierced through her now weaken  shield ,but she had been ready for this she held up her sword and the bullet simply melted into ashes.

The Helgast sniper stood in fear at what he had just seen in front of him Krystal had stopped his bullet..... he fired another shot it failed again. She was getting closer and closer  he let out one last shot before his sniper bareel was cutt off. Krystal kicked the sniper  flipping him over from his bell to his back Psionic sword pointed at his chest he could feel the heat emnated from the sword even through his armor....

"Tell me  Where is your head quaters and are you the last  one here?"Krystal growled her sheild slowl recharging as she stood there.

"Regul?"Serena asked "When your ready I'll show you to the drop pods."

"Lead the way," Regul responded immediately.

Para nodded, "I figured as much."  He then approached Todd's downed body and leaned in with a hand extended out.  "Hey, Todd.  Are you alive down there?"

The sniper chuckled then laughed, "There are many of us in this wasteland!  You will never find all of us out here; we are EVERYWHERE!!!  But, you will have to find another pupil that will spill their nerves to release our leader's location:  I'm zipped closed!"

"Is that so?" Krystal asked holding the sword at his leg  She cut it off "How would you like to live with no legs or arms?"She asked aiming at his remaining leg with her sword

" Did you grab one of the personal energy sheilds, Regul?"Serena asked.

Regul patted the side of her leg which held the shield.

The sniper groaned in pain and went back to laughing, "No legs and arms will not stop my lips spreading the words of the Hellfurion Law!  You will NEVER accomplish anything from the war.  You hear me?!  NOTHING!
