Sabre
This has come up 3 times today. So poll time. Where do you stand on national pride? The main reason I ask is in a recent video by a wastern anime fan who always claims he is open minded, logical and craves originallity. He then goes on a 5 minute rant about how all the west is just boorish meat heads who only like macho space marines. Whereas everything Japanese is a new and not the least bit cliched. Nope. Teenage girls driving big robots? Doesn't exist. It quickly became apprent that he was wapanese.Personally, having been on both sides of the fence, I can say with confidence that western stuff is better. You? Guest Julius Quasar
ain't never been to the east, but I'll just go with what I know. Western stuff is slightly better, I guess.*EDIT*They're both great in their own way.
Mr. Krystal
I like the good parts about everything, and dislike the bad parts about everything. I have no national pride in the sense that "I am from this nation." I have tons of national pride in the sense that "The nation I choose to reside in has good values/laws/morals/etc. and I intend to protect these ideals." All from the land of the raisen bun.

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I honestly can't pick Japanese over Western or vice versa. For me Japanese media may be hard to understand but it has all the mecha I love, and Western media I understand but it's the same thing I grew up with for years.Wapanese people are just crazy. Sabre
1.30 in, and so far it's all Red Herrings. What isn't is contradictory. For example "Steel didn't melt, and has never melted, in a building fire" later on, they claim some goverment guy was lying, because he claimed he never saw the photos of molten steel. Then they show on screen clips showing molten steel trickling down the building. Which is it? Did it melt or not? There is a podcast called conspiracy skeptic. The first 2 episodes are a great all purpose conspiracy debunker. I'm pretty much watching that film with a check list ticking them off as I go. Sabre
if at a certian temperature steel can melt but if its fire or anything thats not very high it couldn't melt!Im talking about the towers. The documentry says steel couldn't have melted at fire temprature and steel buildings can't collapse due to fire. World War 2 proved it can. The truth is steel doesn't have to melt completly, when it's hot enough for steel to bend, the beams can no longer hold the weight, and the building falls. Later in the decumentry, they claim that the investigaters lied because they would not accept photos and clips of the molten steel falling from the building as evidence. If the steel melted and they have footage of it falling down the building, doesn't that prove the steel melted thus contradicting the idea that the steel didn't melt?
