Vy'drach Posted August 23, 2010 Share Posted August 23, 2010 On SOCOM, I deviated from Spain and went to Russia, so I am now a member of the Spetsnaz in that game, which has given me access to the AN-94 assault rifle in the game. They actually got the weapon's firing characteristics right, too, as having it on full auto is a very stupid idea. Instead, you gotta set it to two-round burst to get that 1800 RPM burst that just mercs people. Was having people drop their guns for my AN-94, but they didn't know how to use it or what it was, so they had it on full-auto, and would usually die (usually to me firing it on two-round burst).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN-94I am going to miss that Spanish desert camo, though, as Russia doesn't really get any desert camo, and Spain had the BEST desert camo in game, in my opinion. Guest Julius Quasar Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 I found my calling in life!After quitting chef's school (not on the hook for any major expenses, thank God), I found how easy it is for me to work as an armed security guard. By armed, I mean with an actual pistol! I get get trained and licensed for open/exposed carry weapon permit in California real easily/for cheap, and trained for a "Guard Card" for cheap, too. I could work patrolling gated communities, as an "Armed Response Unit" for alarm/security companies, work at country clubs, or be a posted armed guard at a bank. Pistol armed guards make good money, and nice benefits too!The only thing I don't want is to be an armored car guard. Not a good scene. WAY too much turnover (even without getting attacked/killed), and those armored car junk heaps can't stop certain rounds.I'm starting out at an alarm company as a dispatcher, ASAP, I've already applied for the job. I'll use the $$$ I make to pay off my chef school debts, and pay for my training for Guard Card Cali certification/licensing and for my E.C.W. CA. State permit.
