Good News, Everyone!

Accidentally caught my phone between a car-door and the frame of the car; I'm not even sure how as it was in my pocket. It shattered inwardly, but the good news is that I -may- have insurance on it. Here's hoping.

Ha, a friend of mine had just got a new iPhone after dropping his old one. He put it on the table, then turned to the side and knocked over a can of coke, which emptied itself right on to his new phone. Thank god for insurance!

I would never forgive myself for that, and I'm fairly certain friends would never let me live that down, xD. Thankfully, I found out that I did indeed have insurance and I'll be procuring a new Sony Xperia Ion in a day or two.

I came back from a Doctor's appointment after having some... man pains for over a week. Turns out it's nothing serious, though I now have a Doctor's order to wear briefs instead of boxers.

I hates briefs.

Also, for some reason my vertical scroll bar has decided it doesn't want to be there anymore.

...The only thing I can say is that your current avatar matches quite perfectly with the circumstance. Here's hoping it'll clear up soon. :P

I survived my first day of High School. It's fun on how people in my area say "Oh H.S. is so hard, nobody is nice, everything is old..." crap. So far most of my teachers are hyperactive to a lesser pinkie pie point and one who speaks is such a monotone voice it puts people to steep. Plus my Orch. Teacher may give me a old record player and a LOT of old records when she gets rid of it.

(EDIT: Never mind adding the quote)

Shen, since I'm not on a computer it's being picky about quoting. Anyways I'm glad to hear you got people together to play it! Not sure my ensemble would want to do that. I'd probably get weird looks.

My good news is I'm not on a computer for a rather peculiar but great reason. Today I picked up the console and got with it:

STAR FOX 64........3D!

Yeah it's the remake and I have the original, but I still enjoyed the freshness of the moment, even though I did terribly when I played.

My replacement phone arrived, though I refuse to remove it from the packaging at all until my screen protectors and case come from Amazon. xD

------

I've also finally found a type of car that suits my taste and that my mother actually likes; the 1991-1996 Buick Roadmaster. Sure is a 'beaut.

It's no '72 Buick Riviera, though I suppose you can't really fault the car for that.

There is -nothing- quite like an early '70s Buick Riviera; that boat-tail just can't be beat. :P

Probably my second favourite car after the '01 Dodge Viper GTS (black with silver stripes).

Yup; even in that state it still looks fantastic. The rear is one of the best parts to that generation of Riviera as well;

I saw a really nice 70's Charger sitting out on the side of the road. They were asking only $3000, but it was TRASHED. Several parts of it were rusted, and the interior was a mess. I don't have the money to restore it, but if I did, hggn.

With the now-hurricane Isaac, returning home from Miami was a horrifying chaos. THey actually offered us to return on Friday or even in Late September (no guarantees)

I don't know what happened, but for some reason, I'm posting this at home. Got a boarding pass for today. :D

In other news, did LASIK eye surgery, and I'm 20/20!

Congrats on getting home; I've heard the airports around Miami can be some of the worst. And 20/20 vision is always nice! :P

Good to see you not dead, and also LASER RAVE IN YOUR EYEBALLS. And something about being able to see better :-P

I was scheduled originally for past Sunday, but there was a huge crisis. My dad returned on Monday on a segment flight (?) and we were originally returning on Friday (on a segment flight that wasn't even guaranteed to get home). Miraculously, a spot opened for yesterday for a direct flight.

It helps that it's very much like a mall inside.

At a point, it did felt like that. A lot of lights dancing. :o

The surgery itself wasn't painful, but it can feel a bit annoying.

Just picked up the Ratchet and Clank Collection, though the Sly Cooper Thieves in Time demo has me excited the most. :-P

I have found out what the smell of my own flesh searing is.

Creepy, but not the good news. I've had some keloid scar tissue on my chest for a while, that had a tendency to itch every now and again and just bug the hell out of me. Doctor offered to remove it and I accepted, which just entailed a few shots of local anesthetic, then cutting it off and digging it out underneath. Then, he grabbed what looked kinda like a dental water pick type sprayer thing, and I heard a sizzling type sound, and at first I thought it was a nozzle spraying disinfectant, but then I noticed the smell, mostly burnt hair but also partially flesh. Turns out, that nozzle, was a cauterizer. Didn't feel a thing thanks to the marvel of Novocain, but just the pressure and slight heat that I could feel felt damned weird.

All in all, was a fun day, though I probably wouldn't of had the keloid removed if I new cauterization would be required.

Novocain is weird shit. I'll attest to that.
