I'm starting a new job on Wednesday, finally a step into my career in the healthcare business. 30 hours a week.

So I came home from a long day of work to this:

http://deadline.com/2015/01/x-files-reboot-talks-fox-1201352465/

Following the success of Fox’s 24 limited series, the network is looking to bring back another iconic drama series, The X-Files. Fox TV Group chairman Gary Newman today confirmed chatter that the network is in talks for a new installment of Chris Carter’s cult supernatural drama

I cannot confirm or deny that I then proceeded to cry real tears of joy and forget I was supposed to be somewhere.

My brother gave me a portable typewriter from the 1940's that was in his basement. It's so cool, it's the same model that was used in the military.

This coming Friday I will be taking my first class to get my Pharmacy Tech license for a store I work at. Been working for the store for 3 years, just got transferred to Pharmacy early December. It's challenging, but that is where the fun lies.

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally set up my new ghetto'd up dual monitor system that I'd been meaning to do for a while, and thanks to it I can now play my games and watch my anime simultaneously, unfortunately not Kill-La-Kill because I refuse to watch that dubbed because of the voices, but I did manage to finish Samurai Champloo and have moved on to finishing Outlaw Star. Then it'll either be finishing Accel World, watching all of Ghost in the Shell, or watching all of School Rumble to see if it ever makes sense.

Sorta good news, everyone!

This month I am going to go through a special kind of thing in my life, where I am going to go to a doctor, and by feeding me peanuts little by little, (which I am DEATHLY allergic to peanuts,) my allergy to them will slowly start to go away. Then, I can have all the good stuff.

Still can't eat peanuts.

Hope you have better luck than I did.

And here peanuts are a staple of my diet. I have been packing PB&J for years. I don't really like PB&J, but my parents expect me to pack it in my lunch, so that's what I do.

Lethal peanut allergy here too, can verify that it doesn't work that way. At least, never has for me. Allergy's worsened if anything.

Good luck, maybe it'll work for you.

Pretty sure I am gonna be able to get a PS4 and Bloodborne, mostly just waiting to see if NA gets the exclusive PS4 and Collector's Edition bundle, too.

Registering for a lighter course load next quarter. Fuck colleges on the quarter system. I want to have a life outside of studying ;_;

Also computer science is super dank and I really enjoy the intro Java programming course I'm taking, so I guess there's that. Been doing Compsci homework to procrastinate physics shit.

Beat Snowhead Temple in Majora's Mask. This game shows me how unclever I am.

Just used some of my Club Nintendo coins to order a 3DS cartridge carrying case, as my case for the 3DS has run out of spaces to hold all my games.

Finally, I'm smart enough to get my head wrapped around coding in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010! I'm currently studying how to code in C++ and Visual Basic right now.

I've been accepted into the National Honors Society without me even knowing. I really thought I wouldn't get in and I never got a reply, or so I thought. The letter that came in the mail was on the counter buried under my parents stuff for a week.
