Finally got my beautiful weapon I've been longing for for ages, the No Land Beyond.

And I am utterly garbage with it, but I wanna be the very best.

This has been one of the best uses of a reaction image I've ever seen.

Wow... 10/10.

Hahaa! Apostrophes are apparently usable for display names now, so I can have my proper name on here.

I also ordered stuff from Amazon a bit ago, Ganondorf and Palutena amiibos, got Ganon already, also ordered a copy of the deluxe edition of The Last Unicorn, but turns out it was an, admittedly beautiful (hence why I'm keeping it), hardcover graphic novel instead of a tradition novel, found that out when it arrived. So I ordered the correct version which should arrive soon.

Girl, yezzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

--Okay, admittedly it might be too early to celebrate, but I applied for a promotion at my job. But that in an of itself is a personal milestone for me.

Been working a decent full-time summer IT internship for about a month now. It's been a lot of fun and it's nice to have a 9-5 after working super late hours at my previous job. I also scored an internship at my college radio station as their Tech Manager, so I'll be maintaining all their server equipment for their online stream as well as doing sound at all their live shows. Feels fucking good man.

Also, using the money from my job I built a fucking beauty of a PC. Specs:

  • Corsair Air 240 case
  • Case fans swapped for red LED fans
  • Gigabyte Z97MX Gaming 5 mobo
  • i5 4690k unlocked (going to OC to around 4.3 GHz)
  • Corsair H100i so I don't get fucked by temps (running about 25C idle)
  • 8GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600MHz RAM
  • Seagate 3TB drive for storing all 200+ games I have
  • Sandisk 120GB SSD for OS and Steam executable and shit
  • GTX 970 Reference Edition (STRIX didn't fit with its heatpipe)

Pretty happy with the performance right now, might look into overclocking my graphics even further in the future since that blower cooler does wonders.

THIS JUST IN: I HAVE PHOTOS

Made some bomb ass Youthberry white tea today and got another lil' recipe jotted down. It is one more way I can annoy people at Sturrbawks when I want them to make something complicated, while enjoying it at the end of it all. I am slowly mastering the art of becoming a truly hated white girl.

So here I am, having moved into my room at lycée. It's brilliant here, but, erm... *grumbles at the fact that he hasn't got a tablet.... yet*

Well, as you may have known, I started my peanut immunization program a while back,  (I was supposed to start in February, but instead I had to start in July) and it's going great! If you don't know what the immunization is, the allergist puts about a really tiny amount of a peanut inside of a shot of Kool Aid, and gives it to you. They give you greater and greater amounts of the peanut (usually double each time) until they move you on to the peanut in applesauce or pudding. (It's about a sixth of a peanut in a powder form by then.) Then after six weeks of that, they give you a whole peanut, and slowly move you up to 12 peanuts within the next few weeks, and then you're done! You're unallergic! It's a truly amazing thing, and I'm so glad I'm a part of it! In one week I'll be starting the peanut itself, so I'll post about that as well. I should be completely done by December or a little sooner, and then I can eat peanut butter, peanuts, peanut M&Ms, and all that good stuff! I'll have to go through this again, because although it makes me unallergic to peanuts and a couple of other nuts, I'll still be allergic to all tree nuts. (Except for almonds, I've always been able to eat those.)

Still keep your Epinephrine. And keep a good eye out for any side effects. Immunotherapy is still in the works in treating peanut protein deficiencies. Also don't go too crazy, you're trying to make your immune system not bug out when you eat peanuts and going out to eat a whole jar of peanut butter can still react.

A retro game/comic/book/movie store opened up about 15 minutes away from me. I bought a CIB Atari game. I don't even have an Atari.

Good news, my new video card arrived.

Bad news, don't think my PSU can operate it, technically my current card can't run on the PSU either so I thought maybe I could squeak by again since GPUs actually don't go off wattage but some other stuff, so if the stars align a 350w PSU can operate something that needs 500w+ according to specs (mine is 460w, card wants 500w). Seeing if reddit will tell me if it's just a sub-par PSU, which is easy to fix, or if card is kill.

I now have a new, 650w Thermaltake PSU, if that doesn't work, I can return it, if it does work, hurray. Gonna install it tomorrow.
