Have fun!As for me, I decided to play some Ranked games in SOCOM (Don't usually play em since there's no respawn in ranked games), with Machine Guns as my specialization, and got the custom scope you can only use on LMGs, which I can put on the Ameli (and it is awesome, has such a large zoom for a MG scope), giving me a *dun dun dunnnn* sniper Ameli.Now I am working on getting the second unlock for MGs, which is a gun I can use on either faction, the Mk 48 Mod 0 LMG, which is an FN Minimi (M249 SAW) that is chambered for 7.62x51mm as opposed to 5.56x45mm. Won't replace my Ameli for Commandos, but will replace the M60E4 or RPK40 for the Mercenaries. And after I get that, I get a damage, accuracy, and range increase with MGs, and a recoil reduction. That + Ameli = OMG I AM DIE!Also, made a British clan freak out in ranked games, because of how accurate I was with the MGs already. After a few rounds of killing em, I ended up as the last alive, and saw three of them together. One was throwing random grenades to try and flush me out, and I brought that M60E4 up, with the forward grip and laser sight, aimed it carefully, and as he threw a frag up on a ledge, I let out a burst into his head, and he fell over in the funniest way, with his arm still up. His clan mate heard the gun go off (The M60 is INCREDIBLY loud in SOCOM), and was likely close enough for the on-screen gunfire indicator. (In SOCOM, it doesn't point you towards incoming fire, but enemies firing with guns within a certain range. Quieter guns have a shorter indicator, and suppressors reduce it even more. So the M60 alerts you from about 1-200 feet of their exact direction.) He starts to turn towards my direction, and I take him out with another burst. Then his other clan mate spots me, starts shooting at me, and by this time the M60 has become inaccurate since it hasn't recovered the accuracy from the bursts, so I get into an epic shootout with this guy, and his other clan mate throws up a frag grenade and gays me out of a good fight. So next to our tent was a airbrushing place where they do airbrushed tattos. Fake ones that last a week. At first I shrugged and say, Nah " They will never do it."So when we were starting to close up, my friends gave them free ice, and in return they gave us free airbrushed tattoos. So My first instinct was STARFOX!!!. I went up to here with a photo of the main logo and asked her if she could. She told me that the brushes have to much over spray and that it would not work. I was saddenedShe then looked at me and said, if you can draw it and then cut it out in a few minutes I can do it!!!.I was so happy, luckily my friend could draw very well, and I cut it out. Now as i was cutting it out, i was so excited that my hands literally shook. Vy'drach Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 I unlocked the special Mk 48 Mod 0 MG, or "Gloria" as it is named in game, and she is pure and utter beast. But with her, I no longer really need the CETME Ameli, which saddens me. I tried to change from Spain to another country for back-up weapons. First I decided to go with the United Kingdom for the IW-80 A2, but since the UK is pretty much dead last for my preference of country in the choices, that annoyed me, and only the L85A2 was remotely appealing to me, and I would never use it anyway, and I felt bad for the Ameli (I get attached to weapons, so sue me), and Spain has too bad ass of a desert camouflage. So I went with France because they have the riot-shield helmet, and the FAMAS G2, but their heavy armour is too large, and again, the Ameli and the camouflage, so I just went back to Spain, for the desert camouflage, and to have the Ameli to mess around with when bored.Other than that, though, Gloria is AWESOME. Have her and the custom scope on her, and I am sniping people who can't hit me when I'm crouched in the middle of a wide street, with no cover, and I just let out little bursts of, "Tat-tat, tat-tat, tat-tat," and headshot all three of em.Next unlock is a damage increase (unimaginable, since Gloria is .308), accuracy increase (also unimagineable), and a recoil reduction (Gloria can have a wee kick if you aren't careful).
