How is Yoshi a copy cat?

I agree, I don't see Yoshi as a copy cat. I USE Yoshi in SSBB, he's one of 4 characters I use. Guess what da other 3 are...

& if "Yoshi" stole sonic's move, then why is Yoshi in all SSB & sonic's not. If you ask me Sonic stole Yoshi's move.

There's about 4 chars I use as well, Wolf, Fox, Snake, and Falco, in that order. If I'm bored, I may mess around with Lucario.

Of course, I have to agree that the skill of a character doesn't come from the character, but rather the player himself. But, like Vydrach says, this poll was made to see which characters were made with unfair advantages.

I've discovered how much I hate Fox's shieldgrab. On all the flat, featureless stages, which are my favorites, he completely rapes me. When one throws a bit of platforms into the mix, such as Norfair or the Lylat Cruise, I get the upper hand again.

@asper, I AM GOD AT THE SHIELD GRAB!!! lol, i use that all the time

there is a reason i perfected this of course.. i use wii-mote and nun-chuck. i changed the d-pad to a smash pad, kind of like the c-stick. so without a separate button for grabbing, i have to use the shield-A combo to grab somebody, so naturally, i perfected it XD

and yes, side-stepping does nullify this technique, as my friend angel has demonstrated to me several times, me and him are rivals at smash see... i wear the the #2 headband, while he wears #1.. LOL afro samurai referances ftw!!!

he'll make you feel like any character can be cheap! i think his Zelda is cheap, but he tends to blend skill together with his cheapness though, i did indeed topple his zelda though, and with fox nonetheless! we had such a good match together, the kind that sets adrenaline to skyrocket! it was one of the best matches ive ever had!

I Have noticed that Fox & Falco have a weakness VS people with swords. (No wonder my friends use sword people.)

Well, things suddenly took a change for the better yesterday when I took about an hour of training session. I fiddled around with the controll settings untill they were more to my liking, and suddenly realised the C-stick can be used for smashes. Now I feel somewhat stupid...

Turning off jumping with the controll stick also helped a lot, since I only use the X-button for jumping anyway, now I can use his up-kick, which is great to juggle large characters around with.

Also started to use his reflector to more than just stopping the infernal blaster spamming.
