Reasons I am excited:

-Nintendo

-SSB online

-Motion sensors

-Free Wi-Fi

-Classic downloads (cant wait to play the original StarFox)

-3 freaking DVD cases = Rev size

Suggestions for the Rev:

-Either having an automatic transformer or being able to use laptop battery. That would let me take my Rev into other countries.

-Connectivity with DS

-HDTV

-StarFox as one of the earlier games

-Download Game & Watch, Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Pokemon Mini and Arcade games.

-Sega games for download. They said its a possibility and someone from Sega hopes that itll happen, but it aint garaunteed.

-Connectivity GBA-GCN via Rev-DS.

yup free downloads of all the old nintendo games' date=' and possibly free online multiplayer[/quote']

Sorry, but the downloaded games won't be free, but all first-party games will be free online play (Nintendo suggests that third parties make it free as well, but it may or may not be). Free, so long as you have an internet connection and wi-fi. If you don't have the wi-fi, you can purchase the wi-fi adapter ( http://ds.ign.com/articles/665/665128p1.html ) for like $20, and that's assuming that they don't provide a hardline connection. If you don't have internet, you need to pack your tv, cables, revolution, controllers, and such and head down to your local McDonald's. They are partners with Wayport, a wireless hotspot provider. You can get online with your DS already through these spots (see http://www.nintendowifi.com/global/index.jsp ) and the Revolution uses the same system.

yet another great thing about the Revo is that you will be able to connect it to your computer monitor. That means better color, much more sharper, clear and detailed images and possibly higher framerate.

yup hook it straight up to your screen, and i have to disagree they said that all clasic nintendo games will be free to download SNES, SUPER SNES and N64, as the system works as a big emulator and it is said to be ALL free just so long as you have the system, they also said the revolution will improve the skippy frame rate on N64 games.

Nintendo is really starting to bounce back now.

Jesus?! I've been looking all over for you. Welcome to the boards! It's good to know that even God's son is a Nintendo fan.

Wow, some off-topicage?

Watch your sarcasm, he is a mod. And please don't use one word posts.

No, no! I'm really sorry for getting off topic. No sarcasm at all. Here's my on topic thing:

Woah! You're right Fire Fox. I guess I just assumed that they would be doing a iGame Nintendo Store or something. I found this article and parts of the original interview. My sincerest apologies. In that case, I'm downloading all of them! I'm going to buy a dedicated 300 gig hard drive for them (because that's another feature, downloaded games will be managed on the computer).

Oh ok. I am new here after all.

Anyways, I would love an MMORPG set in the SF universe. But I don't think it should have a monthly fee because my dad won't let me use the money for non-important things. And the REV is doing pretty good. Rare also says that Perfect Dark Zero may just work on the Nintendo Revolution.

aww' date=' but I wanted to know the meaning of life...oh well. WEE PORN!![/quote']

That's the answer to life, the universe, and everything. It's not the meaning, though.

Anyways, a Starfox MMORPG would be good, but you have to understand that everyone couldn't be the Starfox team (just as you can't be Neo in the Matrix Online). Don't worry though, the game's online capabilities, if they exist, would be free.

You know what'll be convenient? Even though the Revolution will be smaller than most of my books, I still won't have to take it with me. I won't even need to take my memory card (if they exist, I hadn't heard anything about them) because you manage game saves and classic games on the computer. Just turn on your wireless and you're good to go anywhere!

Oh, and here's some cool videos that suit this topic:

Official Revolution Controller Video- Minus camera flashes and crowd noise.

Tokyo Game Show 2005 Keynote- The whole presentation where the controller was announced. 40 minutes long.

Revolution Mock-up Video- What Revolution First Person Shooters might look like. Shows the controller too.

Revolution Music Video- Actually pretty good.

Revolution Parody Video- Warning! Extremely strange and slightly graphic.

All videos from Google Video. No downloading required.
