Sabre
Mandatory.Anyway. I'm finding it annoiying that the press are there. One xbox video described GDC as "The place to find out about all the hottest new releases!" No. The point is learning. I understand some of these talks are hard to get into, why are the press allowed to use up seats in the hope that they get a 30 second clip of Halo or something? Not helped by the fact some people are catering for the press in this way. I think they should release any trailers before the event so the press can keep well away.Rant over, what we got thats new he said hyporciritcly.Groovy new brink trailer, and news that theres a little big planet port for the sony wiimote move controler.http://www.giantbomb.com/brink-cinematic-trailer/17-2162/
Mr. Krystal
Because game developers like seeing clips as much as game fanatics (who are the press's audience), if not more. I've been to GDC twice now. As long as you pay for the main pass, all the learning sessions are available to you. The press has access, but they rarely go because they aren't interested in learning that stuff. So there are plenty of seats. When they do a big conference or panel that everyone including the press wants to see, they hold them in massive rooms where everyone can get in.
