Asper Sarnoff
Mc = son ofSon of Great ManActually just about every prefix in a name means son of. And I know Gon means lord but that's for first names.(Gon'Dana is me dad )And the irish prefix O' also means "Of" or "Son of". I therefore thinks its fair to assume that Wolfs fathers first name was Donnell.
Vy'drach
Not necessarily, Asper, those last names go back to when they were given more as titles, and people usually introduced themselves as "Son of," that just happened to turn into a surname. Like my last name is Robinson, but there hasn't be a Robin in my family for generations, that I know of.

Vy'drach
huh. My last names Torres and I found out it's something like "Tower".That likely falls under earned titles as surnames, such as King Eric Bloodaxe (Formerly Haraldsson), however he earned the name Bloodaxe after he killed most of his brothers to secure the right to rule Norway, and after that, he was known as Eric Bloodaxe as a name, not Haraldsson. Mr. Foxer
Thread lock? This has gotten too off topic and it's ridiculous anyway.
