Guest FoXXX
Definitely Assault, not a big fan of Adventure games, but Adventures was good too, and I like the addition of Krystal :)
Vy'drach
I went with both, as they both have Krystal, and both are very fun in their own ways.

StarFoxgal
( OFF TOPIC!! ) Doesn't Assault have a theme like this? http://www.animelyrics.com/game/starfox/identity.htm If someone finds out, plz tell me. (ON TOPIC!!) I liked Adventures bc of it's graphics. But Assault was ok.

CrypticQuery
Adventures is the better game.Assault is the most Star Fox-like game.Good point! I'd have to say that Adventures was a great game, but not a good Starfox game. I found Assault to be pretty solid.
Skye 66
I prefer Adventures. It's not the Starfox thing though, with da guns & stuff. Adventures is better With a good story line & a long range to explore.
Asper Sarnoff
Adventures is the better game.Assault is the most Star Fox-like game.Second this. It's pretty much impossible to deny that Adventures had more quality work put into it, as well as it should be after such a long time in developement. It might not be everyones cup of tea, but it is the better game.

SlyJedi
I love both games, they're both great. But of the two, I love Assault more. Not only is it my favorite of the StarFox series, it is my favorite Game Cube game. :D
Steve
I'd rather go for Assault, since it's the closest thing we have from starfox 64. Adventures felt kinda rushed and aimed to kiddos, specially the arwing "missions", still good, I suppose.
X-Gamer
Assualt. I say this because I think the major point in SF is a good ol' space battle. And assualt has that. For adventures, I just don't get that feeling that I'm playing a starfox game.

rainfyre66
Assault all the way! Not only do we get some good old fashioned Arwing flight, but Fox finally getting out of the cockpit was much closer to the way that I imagined it than Adventures was. (When I was a wee lass, that was like one of my ulitmate "wouldn't it be cool if..." thoughts for Star Fox- on foot missions) Too bad it wasn't more refined... Adventures did not have a straight storyline whatsoever. It was an okay adventure game, but could of been harder. With slippy telling you almost everything to do, it wasn't had at all beat it. On the other hand Assualt was pretty crazy. I did get all the medals though, and that was REALLY hard. I would go more into detail, but I can only type so much...

Yeah, the game was pretty straightforward other than the puzzles, also the game was rather short :(
MarekMcCloud
BUT I think the rail arwing was REALLY good in adventures. It felt soo 64 styled I sometimes would just play that The Assaultwing felt kinda clumsy, but it was alright. Probably the biggest plus in Assault was that the rail mission didn't just consist of a one way route. You could fly really far left and right (at least in the first mission i remember )
