Starfox: Out of this Dimension

Has anyone here played the level "Out of this Dimension" in Starfox (snes)? (The one with the slot machine, and trippy background)  I remember the first day I found it, and I really questioned the mental health levels of some of the guys at Nintendo for the first time.

Yeah, its pretty epic.  IT HAS THE BEST ENDING BOSS (besides andross, lol) OF ANY STARFOX GAME!!! teehee!  :D

I haven't actually gotten there, haven't even beaten the first Star Fox. I always die due to the lack of depth perception I get in that game, normally older graphics don't affect me, but I've never had to deal with those graphics, so it gets me at times.

I do a barrel roll, just that I do it too early or too late, can't tell the distance the shot is to me.

I wish I could do my bedroom walls and ceiling to look like the background of the "Out of this Dimension" level, and have some model Arwings hanging on the ceiling, and a replica of the slot machine in the corner.

That'd be.... disorientating. I'd totally make my room look like Sauria if I could, complete with the gem plants.

Anyway, I beat the original SF finally, and how exactly do you get out of the middle path?

I would love to know how to find it. I finished all endings (okay, all "paths") of SNES Star Fox and did not even know that such a cool level existed...

Care to say how to find it?

The spot where you access the level is in the Asteroid Belt on route 3, (the hard route). When playing the level shoot at the first Giant Asteroid you see until you destroy it, it should be in the bottom right corner of the screen. After that a weird bird will come out of it. When the bird circles back around toward you, fly right into the bird, and you will access Out of this Dimension.

It's a jacked up level BTW, but AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

The slot machine is real. The "Trippin balls" line was added using an antique version of Corel Photopaint.

I'd make sure that replica of the "Out Of This Dimension" Level background on my bedroom walls would NOT be all swishy/blurry, they'd look the way the background of that level looks after you defeat the slot machine.

Out of this dimension? More like Nintendo was out of their ******* minds! They must have been high, drunk, and mentally sick when they made that level.
