Guilty pleasure

Well, I could explain it to them, but it would only solve the furvert stereotype.

There is still the childish one, and unfortunately, those actually refer to furry fans.

...

About the TV thing, well, for a reason I used to turn off the TV whenever they walked into the room.

... (I do not know what they would think if the came in and there´s the episode where Naruto accidentaly kisses the other guy...)

Being considered childish never bothered me that much, so eh. Also, most everyone at my high school watches things like The Fairly Odd Parents, and Jimmy Neutron and such, so it isn't like I would stand out anyway.

I bet more people than you think are into childish things, I believe everyone holds onto something. My dad will watch the Pink Panther or Quickdraw McGraw and such with me.

I'm almost 14 & I still play/watch Pok'emon, Dragon Ball Z, Sonic etc. But IF you really like something you should'nt have to hide that fact. My friends have grown out of games etc. too quickly. But it's not what every one thinks of me that matters, It's what I think of myself that matters. I don't care if I'm the only person that likes supposively too old for games etc. I am, who I am & know one can or will change that.

In truth, I am much like yourself, with little care of what others think.

However my parents are of the like that "modern stuff poisons the mind of the youth."

In fact when I am in Internet I leave a small little window with some random stuff on wikipedia,

so if they suddenly come I enlarge it and they do not 'suspect' anything.

I do care about others just, not what their bad oppinions of me is. Apparently I'm the best drawer in all of year 8 at my school.

Well, same.

I mean about their negative opinions, too.

But similarities stop at drawing, as I suck hard at it.

But now, we should better go back on topic

That's not unusual exactly. I'm willing to bet all the boys on this site have been there, done that. Heck probably a good deal of the girls have watched: "Internet, pictures, men" as well.

Well, mine´s internet,pictures,furry.

I do have a slight off shoot of that, "Internet, pictures, Minerva Mink."

And I do not mean that I search for yiff of her.

Well, I did not mean yiff either... Just to clarify .

Still, furry is a BIG thing. Does not need yiff to be great.

...

Today´s guilty pleasure was listening to some song

that my parents do not like (I clarify that it does not

have swearing or anything like it) right under their noses.

Headphones are a great thing .

Lawl, and I wasn't assuming you meant that either, just that Minerva's personality and character design makes her rather.... popular for yiff artists. And so I have some pictures of her, and my mom already thinks I'm in love with her, or something. Although, in my mom's defense, if she were real, I'd pursue the possibility of getting her to be my girlfriend.

No problem, and , but that is one of the reasons why I do not have pictures of furry stuff outside of my computer.

I have an art book titled, "How to Draw Furries" sitting besides my bed, so I think I've gone past that point myself lol. Funny thing was, my mom is the one that found the book at Barnes &  Noble, and when she read the title (We were looking for a certain kind of art book, so she was reading all the titles), I just paused, and asked, "What did you just say?" She pulled it out and handed it to me, and sure enough, that was it. Then I said, "Wow, this is actually what I freakin needed too." I was just waiting to get a weird look from the checkout guy, because I was gonna bust a gut laughing if he did.

Guilty pleasure, guilty pleasure... mmm...

Oh god i've got it. I'm still into this stuff...

Don't tell anyone, okay?

Going on with you furry discussion, what upsets me the most is probably the whole fandom itself; or whenever the "fandom" really began. Five years ago, if I told somebody that I'm a Star Fox fan, they would be cool with it. Nowadays, If I tell people they say, "What the f*ck?!? Markie I never knew you were a furry!" It pisses me off, you know? This also might apply to the whole StarFox series itself. Some people say it was Krystal that made the decline in Star Fox fans, but I think its the Furry fandom b/c most people nowadays when they think of Star Fox, they think of Krystal THEN think of furries which most people think is a disgusting fetish. I'm not trying to upset anyone here, but that's kinda how I look at it.  :(

Just to add, I'm not a Furry, just a huge StarFox fan  :P

Oh, and just to add, I think Krystal is cute, but I have my limits  :?

By logic CSI and Vanity Fair caused the downfall of starfox. It was there sensationalist episodes on furries that gave them the steriotype and the exposure, that led to them living down to expectations and also caused people to assume anything furry related it, well, as you said.

I would say that being a furry is a guilty pleasure of mine, at least in real life. Here on the internet, I'm not afraid to say I'm a furry. But in real life, it's not something you want to openly profess. Only a couple of close friends know that I'm a furry, but that's because I know they'd understand. I had to carefully explain the fandom to them, but they understood.

Ah, here is another one, I like to swallow really long noodles, hold on to one end, and pull them outa my throat, that, and, I may possibly be becoming a furry... MAYBE!
