Yea, Project Assault is starting now, and I plan on remaking Corneria "StarFox Assault" themed. The Great Fox is going to be completely remade and hopefully the Arwings as well. What character should I work on the most/first? Choose!

NOTICE: Ive already began Krystal, if the people want someone else though, I'll work on that character. Krystal WILL be included regardless. Why? Umm, why not?  :friends:

Background History:

I originally began to work on just getting Krystal in the game. Then I was inspired to do the whole level. If anyone has any possible suggestions, leave a post. I'll have good screenshots by the end of next week and hopefully a video soon. If anyone has been following the "Krystal is the Arwing" thread, I made that hack invalid and am focused completely on this one.  Right now the PA team consists of two people. WISH US LUCK!!!

I vote for Krystal being the number one priority. But if she is going to be included anyway, I vote for making Leon playable. He could really be a slippery opponent.

I'm sure many Krystal fans would love it if you could replace the sandbag with Panther. :lol:

They were not in Assault, they can't really be part of it, sorry. :(

hmm  i think i'd rather have a  scaly leon sandbag...:D no just kiind i'd prefure whacking the panther one.

I'm kind of wondering why Fox is getting votes at all. I mean, he's allready in the game. Having new SF characters will be a lot cooler IMO than getting a new model of someone we allready have.

You can't stop Peppy and his barrel rolls!

Peppy would in that case have some of the moveset of Jigglypuff. With all the rolling and stuff. :lol:

I don't think so. My two cents is that he does it trough the "Homebrew Channel", but then, I didn't really start looking into it till recently, so not entirely sure.

They've found a way to do a game boot-loader from the SD memory card. You start up their unofficial "channel" and then allow IT to boot your game. This allows the system to write over in memory the data for a character or stage or texture or whatever. They've had lots of success in making new levels for New Super Mario Bros. and have been making great strides in adding new characters to Brawl. The system works in a way similar to the way Gameshark did, so it doesn't permanently effect the game or your memory save unless the hack is designed to interfere with those processes. It is for the most part safe, and as far as I can tell, legal. I don't think it will void your warranty, since it loads nothing to permanent memory.

Thanks Mr. Krystal. That cleared up a lot of what I couldn't find answers for in my research about the subject.
