what you DON'T want to see in a starfox game

That Guy

When I saw this thread and how many replies had been accumulated thus far,

I figured that there would be so many things that people don't want in a

Star Fox game that there would nothing left to make a game with.

Ah well.

I tend to have an open mind about game material, so I can't think of

anything in particular that I wouldn't want to see right away.

Guest Mr. Mario

Any more cameos, references or returning of Andross.

Seriously...

Assault:  :slippy: It's just so crazy, I can't believe Andross had so darn many troops left behind

Adventures, 64 and SNES: Villan

Command: Boss on Titania (ghost version)

So, the single mad super-scientist who brought an entire system to its knees should never be mentioned again like he isn't there? The guy responsible for the death of the main character's father, and is the uncle of a recurring minor antagonist? Cry me a river, and then throw yourself in it.

i like andross

He is the one who killed James, and if

the pre-64 comics are to be made canon again,

his wife too.

Honestly the only thing I do not want to see is

he being the 'big boss' at the end.

Yeah, but we need a new villain.

Otherwise, Star Fox would go Mario way

and have the same 'big bad guy' over and over

again.

Aparoid? Anglar?

Yep, we sure have a shortage of new bad guys.

Andross needs to come back now.

NO! If he comes back, the series will

become a Mario-like. Basically if the

same stuff repeats, all over again.

yes atleast one more time as the hardest boss ever not like 64 an adventrues

He has had his time, and Star Fox kicked

his... Brain, twice. Sure, he is evil, he could

allways make way for others to aspire to take

his place, yeah. But his time is over, what is he

going to come back as now, then, an undead head?

Please. Sure, he was cool back in SNES and SF64,

but that is it. He is dead, and I hope permanently.

As I said, he is part of the story, yeah, and I like

him to stay, but as for a new game, no more Andross.

But he is the same 'mastermind' behaind all.

I want to see new threats, new bad guys, new

big bosses. Sure, he was a cool one, but he is

dead, and I do not want him to go undead like in

Command and come back. No more cameos or anything.

Maybe he can leave 'legacy' equipment another bad guy

could use, but I do not want Andross to come back as an

undead again.

Agreed, you want to see him again,

I do not want to.

We should go on.

Starfox, from a storyline perspective, has had Andross come back.... once. SNES/SF64 was his first debut, SFA was his second. That's not even close to Mario, not to mention Mario has entirely different storytelling than Starfox.

Andross should come back, albeit not in some dumb way like he did in SFA. We need more low-brow stories, less saving the galaxy every week stuff.

Phearps that is the problem. It is perhaps not

that he came back, but 'how'. In in SFC he made

a really bad cameo as a ghost. Perhaps if he came

back in a cool way I would like it.

I was just saying that seeing the same

villain over and over bores me. But I first

need to see 'how' (provided he does) comes

back Andross again.

what is Mario's story anyway? they dont really have a chronological order..

in reality, you really kind of dont have a story with mario.. hes more of a childs fairy tale..

starfox ACTUALLY has a timeline, its kind of muddled, but it makes sense, unlike nintendo's UBUR GROUP. which is why i like starfox

i wanna see all the villan's return, adventures had a villian that was never truly given his big show, while the apparoids still have a chance to return. same with the Anglars. (lots of A words in starfox as villans..)i really want to see each of them in the next game in an epic war vs lylat!

I meant that Mario is the same stuff over

and over again.

This is something I would actually like to see,

but it needs to be pulled out well. If done so,

then it would be really cool those them again.
