What was your first reaction when you first saw Krystal?

What has happened to me recently does not have anything to do with this thread. I simply asked for a damn topic lock, people don't seem to understand the simple concept of staying on topic. Read the previous post, the majority aren't on the subject matter. I sence corruption in you.....

That's because we've spanned nearly 23 pages of our reactions when seeing Krystal for the first time.

And as I've already said (and I've taken this up with Steve as well), members don't just have a right to lock topics only because they are the original topic creator because that's not right, especially if other people appear to be liking the topic.  Furthermore there are many topics on SFO that are not always "on topic" and as Milkyway clearly pointed out in another thread that's normal for online forum behavior and by no means the only reason to lock a topic.  To be honest you're the one that is sounding greedy here desperately wanting a lock on this topic...

Now if there were other VALID reasons (ex. drama) for this topic to be locked then I'd lock it, but there isn't.  I consider this matter closed.

Why does everybody say stuff like this? Topics can only be on topic for so long, then they go in a new direction. This is usually the result of two opinions clashing and making a new discussion altogether, or that everyone has had their say and are ready to open up into free discussion with the original topic as a base.

In this case, it's not a derailment. It is a subdiscussion spawned from someone's reason on why they do not like Krystal. This is not a lock worthy event, it's doing what forums promote.

i actually forget my reaction now when i first saw krystal, thank you, and now i think shes functionless and not much to look at accomplishment wise, but i tend to create the life of her, and my idea of her makes her better than just a character.

When I first saw Krystal was in Adventures when you first see her.

And the first time I saw her I thought, wow, cool fox. And then wondered why they always give us sexy vixens that become damsels in distress.

All in all I loved her from start to finish throughout Adventures.

Although, I'm an Adventures fanboy, so you know.. ^^

Krystal isn't really a "lead." She's just a supporting character.

JK. But I was still a bit thrown off when she started speaking Saurian, I really though I'd accidentally set the game's language to Japanese or something. I figured it out later.

But yeah, Krystal made for an interesting character in the world of Starfox, and shouldn't get all the hate she does. She doesn't detract from the story, she can actually add a bit to it. Sadly, Nintendo did it a bit... err... wrong.
