That happened to me as well, except it was with Time Splitters a couple years ago.

They also mixed up my reservation for Heart Gold, the said I ordered Soul Silver, those bastards.

Besides the mixing up of orders, the lack of mint-condition games at least, the lack of proper care and/or cleaning of their products, I like Gamestop.

For example, I once found a Metroid 2 gameboy game there for under $#, I bought that shit lol. You can find good things there every once in a while.

Oh yeah, they're prices can get a little ridiculous.

The two Gamestops around here are pretty alright, the games are clean, and the guys behind the counter show you the discs they have available for the used games and let you choose the one you want. Also, when Modern Failure 2 came out, the one guy helped me get it ahead of a hundred or so people. They don't have any older system games that I can see, but that's alright, I just go on Amazon or eBay and get em for like 5 bucks in near perfect condition. I do like the Gamestop exclusives, even though most of them get unlocked anyway through the standard playing of the game. Only real problems I've had with Gamestop is one girl at one is kind of annoying, mostly due to her unprofessional habits of calling all the customers, "Crackhead," and when we asked her to call the other Gamestop to check if they had a 250 gigabyte PS3 when that one didn't, she started to have a conversation with the guy at the other one. Other than that, however, Gamestop hasn't rubbed me the wrong way, and the service at it depends on which shift you go there on.

Am I the only one that hates Gamestop? They butcher games and systems, everything is overpriced, they place stickers EVERYWHERE, they never clean their used systems or games, etc.  I've had too many bad experiences with them to count.  To name a few: I went out to buy a used Gamecube recently, and they happened to still have a Gameboy Player with it.  Both were horrendously dirty, and needed an hour of cleaning; I went hunting for used games, and most of them didn't have manuals, boxart, or proper cases.  I even saw some that actually had dirt caked to the case.  It was disgusting! The USED stickers also drive me crazy.  ESPECIALLY when they place 50,000 of them on the box, and start putting them on the art! That drives me INSANE.  Has anyone else had major gripes with Gamestop?

i SEMI-hate them I wanted to trade my Gamecube since I have a Wii for $$ for a PS3 and all I WOULD get would be 8 bucks. trying ebay now.
