Guest DRL
Um, April Fool's Day? No offence... But:What the HECK is an April Fool????A fool in April? I do not get it .
Fureox
...Are you luring me into something that's going to backfire on me? Well, April Fool's Day is the first day in April (as I'm sure you're aware of). It's actually just a day to be silly. It's when people play tricks on other people to get a reaction from them. When they do, they usually say "April Fools!" and (most of the time) both people have a good-hearted laugh. Same thing on the internet. People do things to shock you then tell you it's and April Fool's joke. That's probably why everything seems a bit off for you today. Hope i helped unless i just walked into a trick myself

Fureox
Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. It's just an odd day meant for fun, that's all.
Guest DRL
Well, now that you are here, I will like to TELL EVERYONE THAT I DO NOT GET IT AND WILL THUS TAKE SERIOULY EVERYTHING YOU DO DURING THAT DAY... just as if it was another day.If you get hurt, it´s YOUR fault then! Fureox
Well, that's what they want. they want you to believe it. It won't hurt their feelings, only yours (possibly). The thing is to not believe it . Yes, it can be confusing if you haven't grown up through so many April Fool's Days.
Guest DRL
Trouble is that I do not even know what it is. Thefore is you come saying to me "You suck man!"REGARDLESS of it being a special day I will fight you back like if you REALLY meant it.That is what I wanted to clarify. Fureox
That's not an April Fool's Joke. Saying "You suck!" then "April Fools!" after obviously would come from and idiot. April Fools jokes usually have more class and make you believe something, only to turn around and slap you in the face (figuratively) and say "JUST KIDDING!" except it'd say "APRIL FOOLS!" That's a better explanation of April Fool's Day. If you still don't get it, give me an example of what has confused you today (err, yesterday sorta...) because it is not normal. I'll try to explain it to you.
Guest DRL
Well no offence but now you do not seem to be getting it.What I said last was that, due to the fact that I do not ... 'celebrate' such day,I will pretty much react (and remember) what you said as if you did mean it.In other words... That was a friendly warning... (althrough I think it sounded mean). Geo Stelar
Sorry to interrupt, but you two sound like you're debating.Anyway, Fureox pretty much explained the general idea of April Fool's day.@ DRL, no any kind of offense, but it seems that the reason why you still can't get it was that what you said: "I do not ... 'celebrate' such day"

Fureox
Hey, hey. I only meant to help you out man. I tried as best as i could, maybe someone else can explain it better than i can.
Guest DRL
No, no, you did explain it right. It is just that I wanted to clarify people, that after someone explained it,I will not celebrate it, so hopefully people will not make me jokes, because I will not take them as jokes, even if they are. Asper Sarnoff
Here is an example of a 1. April joke. Nothing more than some lighthearted trickery. Also, just came in a picture of Krystal in a bikini. Proper hot stuff, go check it out.http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/7640/krystalinabikini.pngAnother example I did yesterday was when I visited a Corvette forum, and posted that I've "heard" some breaking news about the next Corvette, the C7. That it would get a small, VTEC engine from a Honda to get better fuel milage figures.Result, instant hilarity as some of the members despaired over this, only an hour later to be reminded what date it was today. It's actually quite a nice tradition IMO. You should consider picking it up yourself. The fun lies in not being tricked yourself, but fooling others.
