CrypticQuery
Ya but if you think about it, orcs can be made from the earth in no time at all. stormtroopers have to grow for several years before they could be used. so while the stormtroopers were busy growing, the orcs could create a HUGE army bigger than any technology could beat. (remember the ewoks? they had terrible technology and still swayed the battle)Good point, I didn't think of that! :)

Mr. Foxer
Damn, I had a lot typed out but apparently it didn't get posted. Along the lines of good guys have to win regardless of technology and all that. If the Galactic Civil War happened in reality the Empire would crush those rebel scum. Asper Sarnoff
WRONG! Stormtroopers are no longer made of clones. This is partially wrong. About one third of the stormtroopers during the galactic civil war was cloned from Jango Fetts DNA. The rest was made up of ordinary non-cloned volounteers.Source: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Stormtroopers

Asper Sarnoff
well we have to also account for the deaths of those clones.Yes. But as stated in the other Stormie vs --- thread, they were still being cloned in great numbers during the galactic civil war, even if their quality was significantly lower than those of the Kaminoan clones. The number of infantery soldiers in the Empires army is quite a lot. Even only a third of them equals seveal hundreds of billion soldiers. The Emperor wasn't stupid. He knew well enough to keep a healthy number of incoruptable clones in the army in case the going went rough. Clones are programmed for absolute obedience, with the odd rotten egg in the basket passing quality controll from time to time, and the same cannot be said about normal soldiers. Asper Sarnoff
may i ask you your source because why would some volutanter to help a ruthless diectoator.Ahem, one only have to take a quick look at history to understand why some people volunteer for a cause many view as wrong. Why did so many germans chose to follow their "Fuhrer" when the second world war started? And that is only a single example. One can't simply view the world, or the universe itself for that matter, in black and white. Very few people view themself as evil. People most often tend to do what they think is right under the circumstances and based on the information they have available. The Emperor ruled the galaxy trough fear and terror, but the mayority of the population didn't know of this. What they was shown was a man who had helped bring peace to a galaxy ravaged by war. A man that had managed to defeat the treath of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. A man that had strucken down upon a corrupt and evil Jedi order when it treatened the peace after the clone wars. That is what the mayority knew, and why so many chose to enlist. Star Fox Runner
Also didnt they have their personallities tones down?Yeah, they did tone down the personalities, they mention that in episode two.If nobody joined the emperor because they knew he was bad, he wouldn't have had a support base, and no power, so he wouldn't have been a threat. We are getting off topic, anything more to say about the subject?
