Falco123
This was a great game but I'll like to see other peoples opinions. It was the best if they make a Wii version it should be based on it. :slippy:

X-Gamer
Do a Barrel roll is a good part...I like how you can't save and it forces you to continue through the game. That really boosts up your SF skills when you can't put down your controller.

That Guy
I felt it was a game that was easily the best of the fanchise, but some tweeking could've been done to the voices. Then again, when this was released, star fox wasn't as maturely developed as it is today.
Guest DRL
Star Fox 64 is in my opinion the best. The graphics are simple, yet they looked good back then; the voices 'could be improved' from a native English-Speaker perspective, but to a non-native-Eng-Speaker like myself they are just fine. I also liked the effects of the communicators. What it exelled at was the space fights... Yet, to give you some break from the dreads of space, they added some cool Landmaster stages, as well as a single Blue Marine stage...All in all, an eXellent game. 10 out of 5! SlyJedi
Star Fox 64 is the best game on the N64 in my opinion. I just love it. Impressive graphics, rockin music, 1st rate voice work, and great characters. Just epic win!

rainfyre66
Star Fox 64 is a definite classic and definitely the most refined entry in the series, even if the graphics and voice acting is a little dated. However, I still have to defend the original Star Fox as my personal favorite. It has an epic soundtrack that is superior even to SF64, and boasted some real unique levels and enemies that we have yet to see again in a Star Fox game (the hidden levels, the intergalactic ocean of Sector Y, the hollow planet, the bosses, etc.). Now that game I would love to see as a "reboot".

I do like the fact you can buy the original Star Fox and SF64 for the Virtual Console part of the Wii, and with that "Classic Controller" Accessory for the Wii, you'll feel like you went back to the past. The Gamecube controllers work for the Wii, and when you plug one into the Wii while playing Virtual Console SF64, the Gamecube controller will feel like the old N64 controller. And playing classic Star Fox on the Virtual Console, while using the Wii "Classic Controller" Accessory, which feels like the old SNES controller, you'll feel like you're playing the original SNES Star Fox! Asper Sarnoff
I'm going to have to get SF and SF64 on the Virtual Console. I'll have to buy some new hardware to create a link between the Wii and my internet, but it should be worth it.And for me, SF64 is clearly the best game in the series. As Rainfyre say, the graphics and voice acting is a little dated, but the sheer fun factor of it is immense.

I think I'll go with the latter. :)

CrypticQuery
Sweet , although I like having the original hardware more, playing those games again is fun! (Which is probably the reason I bought an NES off of Ebay a couple of months ago, BEST PURCHASE EVER!)

Sapphire
Actually you don't have to have a Wii to play Star Fox 64, you need to have a N64, Wii, or PC (I know a place ) or just a really good imagination lol. In the future you could have a 3DS to play SF64. :)
Eden
Star Fox 64 is the BEST Star Fox game! The team should stay as: Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy. Just like the good old days...

Dublinthefox
I can honestly say that Star Fox 64 is one of the best games I've ever played. To tell ya the truth it was the first game that I ever played in my life and is what got me into being a gamer.
FoxMcCloud
I would agree with Dublinfox. I really loved Starfox 64, alot as a child and even now. Sometimes before finals and big projects I play a few levels of Starfox 64 to unwind and help me focus more on my studies. Also here is a lulzy comic I found a few months back
