Star Fox: The New Era (Season 1 pt. 1)

"Where's Decker and Max?", Joseph asked Steve, who replied:

"I don't know"

"I thought they're with you?"

"No. I thought They were with you."

"So we'll have to look for them."

"I'll do it."

Steve left the group, then ran back towards where the road forked, hoping to see the two.

[Guest DRL]

Deckér sent a message to the B.S.,

and shortly, the ship was hovering

hover the building.

Since he could not enter,

he fired a missile at the roof, creating

a space large enough for him to enter.

Soon he was on his way to meet up

with the group.

"Let's get out of here. Good thinking Decker." Max said. Max climbed and jumped off obstacles until he reached the roof of the building. He activated his headpiece and sent for his Comet II. It arrived in less than 5 minutes. He jumped on and turned the flight target towards the Sky Charge. After, he left the ship on idle and waited for the rest of the team.

Steve ran, and seconds later he was on the forked road again. Then, he thought he had heard a fireblast, then went again. When he arrived upstairs, there was a big hole at the roof. He then saw Decker and the Black Soviet, then Steve said, loudly, "Decker! There you are!", Then Steve ran towards the two.

[Velocity]

"ugh."amethyst sighed picking up some of the bodies,after shooting them in the head just in case they hadn't already been.

"catch ya later!" jack said and followed Steve.

"just my luck.I get stuck with a stranger and I'm ordered to pick up these...THINGS!"amethyst said angrily

[Guest DRL]

"Hi all" Said Deckér.

"Hello, I am present." Said

the Black Soviet, in turn.

"...By the way, do you have

any more information regarding

this attack?" Added the ship.

"Not exactly... Well, I though

that you could scan the clones

and tell us something." Replied

Deckér. "I am able to, but, I

still need access to one of the

clone´s memory banks if we

are to find out the reasons of

the attack... Or at least, get

the gist of it." Explained the

B.S. "Oh well, I guess you can

wait here until I get one of those..."

He looked at the map in his PDA,

trying to recall the place where he

inspected that clone...

[Geo Stelar]

"You know we're not supposed to pick them up", Joseph said, watching the cernerian picking up bodies. "By the way, i am Joseph."

A little later Joseph saw Luca and the others in the same room. "Good. Almost all of us are here. Now we must only think on what to do with the energy deposits. Anakin suggested examining the clones and see if we can find where their base is. Right now we're waiting for Steve and De-Oh, there you are!" Joseph said, seeing Decker and Steve together with the black Soviet.

[Guest DRL]

Deckér looked at Joshep.

"Hi..." He said. "Oh well,

I was going to get a datachip,

or databank, or whatever from

one of those clones... " The B.S.

interrupted him: "I can analyze it,

as well as the data it might contain."

Deckér then added: "Like I was saying,

I was going back to get that thing from

that clone I and Max saw before... -

Unless you already have that kind of

unit with you."

[Tiberius]

"We found clones equipped with gas bombs. It's a possibilty they attempted to start an epidemic." said Luca.

[Velocity]

well at least SOMEONE has the decency to actually brief us on something thought jack.

[Shinigami]

"What good would that do if they're vulnerable?" Anakin murmured, puzzled. "You're killing your own army as well as the target.  doesn't make a lot of sense..at least on the part of the enemy, anyway." he adds. "Well, whatever. The less the number, the less a pain in the neck our job has to be dealing with these bozos."

[Velocity]

"i'm with ya there" jack said from behind the group

Deckér returned at the roof

with some chips and what

looked like databanks.

"Here Com', analyze this"

he said, and connected them

to the B.S.´s computer.

"As you wish" replied the ship.

[Tiberius]

"Im not sure. We may have problem." said Luca.

[Geo Stelar]

"From my point of view, I think they were planning to kill the clones. The factory back at west corneria. Then this factory. Every time we get inside their base or we have the upper hand, they either give us the switch to turn them off or they deactivate the clones. I know it doesn't make sense, for there we have no clue on why they let us kill the clones, but it is the best idea I can think of," said Steve, while watching the Black Soviet analyze the chips.

"What if...What if the clones were just a distraction? I think it's highly possible. When you need them, spawn them like the aparoid incident. When you don't need them, just dispose of them." Max piped up.

[Geo Stelar]

"Your two ideas might be right, " Joseph said to Steve and Max. "Maybe Steve's right, or Max's right, or maybe.... both of you are right. We will need further investigation to get to the bottom of this."

[Guest DRL]

"Done." Said the ship.

"Cool." Replied Deckér,

but before he could add

anything, his friend interrupted:

"But I am sorry to say that the

data was hardly usuable. Many

encrypted files were empty, phearps

they contained something important

and were 'emptied' after that, or they

are simply dummy files. Also, there

no names, descriptions, or even anything

useful at all... Or maybe there is. I could

rebuild a few files that more or less show

a device, althrough it´s purpose or usefulness

is unknown to me..." Said the B.S.

[Geo Stelar]

"Now that is something new," Steve said, after hearing Black soviet's report. These clones are based on the Twins. And those two work for the Demon Acers. We have never gotten anything useless from one of their clues left behind before," he added, thinking very deeply. "Black Soviet, why don't you try using a memory scan? Have you tried that?", Steve asked finally, hoping this time they would get something.

[Guest DRL]

"Well, I think I can do." Replied the ship,

and tried a memory scan.

"Done. I found a mostly-intact de-encrypted

file; it says something about a sustance called

'Hydragen'... Apparently, those clones who

destroyed themselves had the purpose of spreading

this substance, however, the reasons as to why is

not mentioned here... I guess we have to keep

collecting more datasources, I recommend taking

them from clones who are leading others."

Then the B.S. projected a hologram of the

in-complete device and a molecular display

of the Hydragen.

[Geo Stelar]

"Wow, that look much like the gas substance I saw on the exploding clones earlier," Joseph said, looking at the light purple-colored substance in which Joseph can't decide whether it's a liquid or gas. "Why are they trying to spread that anyway?" he asked himself, rather loudly.

[Guest DRL]

"The only suggestion I can give

so far is the gathering of more data

storage devices; maybe from a high-level

clone would help... By the way, I apologize

if I can not be any more helpfull" Said

the B.S. after hearing Steve.

[Geo Stelar]

"Not to worry," Steve and Joseph said together. "All that important now is that we know what they're after or what they're trying to spread," Steve said. "Let's destroy the energy deposits and go back to base," Joseph said. "It's 3 hours before midnight. We're gonna nee some rest in this long day."

[Tiberius]

"They might be trying to distract us from something more powerful." said Luca. "Possibly an army of sorts. I'll analyze that substance myself. I'm pretty sure I can be of a little more assistance than a computer." he said, taking a sample in a container.

[Geo Stelar]

"You would be able to analyze the substance safer in our base than here," Steve said. "Tom and Ray will be able to analyze more about hydragen's nature, or whatever it is."

"Steve's right, for now we should go back to the base.", Joseph said, packing his weapons and went to go outside to his ship.

Steve was readying when he suddenly realized something. "Where is Max?", he asked Decker.
