back in the base...

Steve was making weapons, helped by the Black Soviet. steve stood up for a while, went to the upper room, and looked out the window. He almost toppled over because of what he saw beside a wide tree.

An arctic Fox? in Corneria?

(As a suggestion, I prefer her to use

'Interlocke' when... 'on-duty', since being

a Spy it is dangerous if her... 'contractors' knew

her true name...)

Steve stood still rooted to the spot, can't believe his eyes...

KRystal pointed to her muzzle. "you never noticed how it looked like a straight banana? (he is a canine right?)

"Oh, 'that' banana.." said Steve. "why shouldn't I bother him? He's an... arctic fox... strange.."

Ris stopped on the sidewalk at a busy three-way intersection, his eyes focused on the single road stretching out in front of him, his tail giving an occasional flick.  After a moment, a subtle smirk crossed his muzzle and he turned his head to the left.  "Say, how about we run against traffic?"  Looking to the right, he replied to himself with, "That sure is one way to cure boredom, eh?"  Again looking to the left, he nodded.  "Alright, sounds like a plan.  Just have fun with it, a'ight?"

With another nod, he faced the street in front of him, his ears perked and listening to the sounds of the many vehicles driving up and down, each keeping to their lanes in order to avoid crashing into each other.  He had his vision set on the bit of traffic driving toward him.

Only a slight twitch of his ear warned of his next move.  The blue Arctic Fox bolted into the intersection, headed straight for the oncoming traffic.  Horns began honking and shouts were heard all around, causing his smirk to become more visible as he leapt forward over a vehicle, placing his hands on its hood and pushing himself the rest of the way forward, tucking into a roll as he reached the top of the next in line.  Quickly bouncing back up onto his feet, Ris performed an aerial cartwheel, landing smoothly on top of the next vehicle.

Hearing sirens not far off, the young vulpine jumped off of the car and ran into an alleyway between two buildings, one being an apartment complex.  Approaching the wall at a heavy angle, he ran up the brick a few steps before grabbing hold of a bar surrounding the raised ladder of the fire escape.  Pulling himself up, he swiftly began making his way up to the apartment building's roof, his tail swishing behind him.

Steve's jaw dropped at what the arctic fox did. He decided he'd follow the fox, quietly. He tiptoed and went after the fox, slowly but surely..

After a lot of stairs had been climbed, Ris reached the rooftop, throwing his fists into the air as he walked to the center.  "And another escape from the cops!" he announced to no one, his smug grin accentuating the light shining off of his blue eyes.  Satisfied with his performance, the fox lay down, putting one hand under his head while the other blocked the sun from his now-closed eyes.  "And with that, my day's that much better."

Steve froze at one of the stairs as he heard what the fox said. Another escape fro the cops?

Steve climbed more steps, and now he's eye level with the roof, and he saw the arctic fox. Is he a criminal or something? , he thought.

Ris' ears perked up at the sound of someone climbing the metal steps.  Opening his eyes, he raised his head, looking to the edge of the building.  "Come in." he called almost lazily.

"Shit, he heard me", Steve whispered, then slowly, nervously, he showed himself.

Ris raised a hand in greeting as the man showed himself, ready to move if he had to.  "So, what brings you to the rooftop?" the fox asked casually, his ear giving a small twitch.

"I, uh.... I'm gonna go... uh, sight seeing", Steve said, trying hard to keep his voice casual and convincing.

"Sight-seeing, eh?" Ris asked.  Placing his palms down beside his head, he rolled his legs back before quickly kicking them forward again, landing upright on his feet.  Giving the tails of his headband a quick tug, he looked to the male.  "I've gotta say, buddy, you've picked the wrong time to sight-see."  The blue fox slowly began walking towards him.  "Wanna know why?"

Placing a hand on the man's shoulder, he gestured out into the distance.  "Sun can get really bright right here and--"  He gestured a little lower.  "There are a lot of crowds and traffic.  Kills the view just a bit, plus it blocks out all the good sounds you'd be able to hear otherwise."  Giving his shoulder a light pat before letting it go, Ris finished with, "Come back here in the morning.  -Beautiful- sunset -and- you can usually still hear all the chirping and such."

Steve just stared. Pulling himself together, the idea of pretending to be sight-seeing gone, he said, "Who are you and where'd you come from?"

Looking back to the wolf with an eyebrow raised in slight confusion, the fox responded with, "Isn't that a little rude?  I don't remember you telling me -your- name."

"I heard you earlier. You said you got another escape from the cops. I'm guessing you're not from around near here. If you can't tell me your name then you might as well tell why are the cops after you.", Steve said.
