Krystal's past

The Green Fox

ok i may have not played adventures BUT wasn't there a single or something that she sensed and she went to sauria with the  space ship?

All I know is a distress Signal and the next thing you know BOOM HEADSHOT CAUGHT by Krazoas.

From the implication of the wording at the beginning of the game, Krystal had never been to Sauria prior to her first appearance in Adventures.

And realistically, yes, it would only make sense that she would be traveling via a space-ship, there's technically no evidence that that is how she arrived, only that that is how she left.

so this could mean she did grow up on  Cerinia ,but how she got off is still a mystery.  But that brings up another question how did she  get a cloud runner to help her..

There is no evidence that Krystal is the princess of anything.

Adventures begins by explaining that Krystal just arrived on Sauria in response to a distress signal. Prior to that, she was roaming "the depths of space" in search of answers about her parents' death.

True 'dat!

That's right.  I'll assume that the spaceship you see her flying in the end of Adventures was hers all along.  It was probably stolen by the Sharpclaw after she was frozen in the Krystal, you do see the Sharpclaw use it to drop Tricky onto Ice Mountain, but then you see Krystal using it to fly aboard the Great Fox in the end, having stolen it back.

Considering the fuel cells ROB had scattered all over the planet, Krystal would have no problem finding enough fuel to get off of Sauria and aboard the Great Fox.

But that brings up another question how did she  get a cloud runner to help her..

Krystal's telepathic powers let her automatically translate Saurian.

so the cloud runners will just randomly  help anyone who  can speak their own language?

^^^Well isnt that practically the reason why the SharpClaw were all like:

"Yo, all you other tribes! Guess what? We taken this planet over as of NOW!"

I mean, wasnt this tribal war thing kind of random anyways? For some reason, I think I remember the first conversation Krystal has with that dinosaur who explained how the SharpClaw suddenly became really strong and took over Krazoa Palace?

Call this ridiculous, but maybe Cerinia was originally one of Sauria's moons, then it crashed to Sauria long ago killing most of it's population, but the survivors became part of the Saurian population, adopting their cultural lifestyle. It happened so long ago that most people don't remember it, and Krystal's people were most likely wiped out or scattered years later. It would at least explain how her staff worked with Sauria's Force Points, and how she worked so well together with the Krazoa.

That's not possible. Krystal is the ONLY survivor of Cerinia. And Krystal only arrived at Sauria after the distress signal. She wasn't already there.

I'm sure Krystal could convince them that she wanted to help their situation, but help finding the signal.

I still love Kit Karamak's theory for Krystal... if you read his Reflections of Krystal. It would be believable if Andross was the cause for the the destruction of her planet, seeing Krystal said "It's You!" when Andross shoved her in the dark matter beam which trapped her in the quartz.

True...  but how do we know its completely destroyed? the destruction of a planet doesn't neccissarly mean that it blew up, so I'm thinking maybe that the planets surface was scorched by a solar flare or something....

but about your andross theory... remember that was a renowned scientist, and after that he was threat known by everyone in the system, for all we know she could have heard a few things about the war when she entered the system, possibly while the war was still going.

For the 8 billionth time. It is not certain that Andross was the person doing the pushing. There are no less than 6 logical errors with it being Andross, and only Andross, in that scene.

Its why I said theory Mr. K... In Reflections of Krystal, The fan fiction has a theory that ties in with Star Fox adventures and puts Andross as the man who shoved Krystal in the quarts.

Besides I could care less for cannon, I only care for myself and how I opinion-ate how things  happened. That's what this topic is about right? Opinions of Krystal's past? We'll I gave you mine just putting it out there.... no need to correct me with canon-logial facts, I have played the games just as long as you have. I didn't say "Andorf Pushed her in the Quartz in Adventures" I stated "It would be believable" (i.e. in the extent with Kit Karamak's theories), IF Andross was the cause.

Hmm... i wonder what andross knew about her? do you think he might have had some of records on Cerinia? Possibly the same lab that was on Titania?

eh...

If you read the Reflections fan fics, the theory goes:

Andross was mortally wounded and about to die after the events of the Lylat Wars. Andross found himself on a rich planet outside the Lylat System known as Cerinia where he was revived and in returned helped improve their technology. as it progresses he corrupts them by implying he would help increase their solar energy output if he built a device around their sun. Years later when they find out that he was using them to only gain power, most of the young and weak minded Cerinians were influenced under his control starting a mutiny. The device that they built for their sun was a weapon that collapsed their star and destroy their world and and any planets in their system.

Andross was presumably mortally wounded again by Krystal's father, but  dies in the process. The people of Cerninia took him back into the pod that he arrived on. Krystal along with a few other Cerinian scientists where ordered to find any source of thrive-able worlds to start colonization as well as leads and answers to Andross. In the end Krystal leaves her star system off to the destination Andross was jettisoned to while the others stayed behind. However Cerinia's sun went supernovae and was caught in the stars explosion.

Basically Andross didn't have any memory with Krystal except that she is Cerinian. Krystal only knows him because he was the cause of her planets destruction, which is the theory why Krystal said: "It's you!" before being trapped in the quartz.

It could NOT have been General Scales because he couldn't catch up so fast. Not to mention the distorted filter effects which is to interpret seeing through someone else's eyes also showed up when he was looking down at Fox fighting Scales, leading to "that familiar voce" fox recalls after General Scalles collapses after releasing the final Krazoa Spirit.

Which is why I think Andross was that person who was looking at Krystal and shoving her in the dark matter beam as well as observing Fox and Scale's battle.

EDIT; I'm not going to shove my opinions of her past down anyone's throats, just implying things I have collected and wanted to share some plausible events that could have led up to her past. For all we know her planet could have been on the brink of destruction much like Krypton from Superman, or vaporized from  Schwoop-dah-whoop Firing hez Laz0r for all we know.
