How do you think you'll die?

I don't like thinking about this kind of crap, I'm not as worried about how I'm going to die as much as where I'm going after I die. (I'm religious, and seriously, the idea that I could go to hell terrifies me to the core.)

If there is indeed a selection of locations where you might end up in the afterlife, I'm willing to bet you'll end up in the better place.

In the old norse religion, which I've got quite the soft spot for even if I'm atheist, exactly how one died could also affect where you ended in the afterlife. If you died of old age or sickness, you ended up in Hel, which is surprisingly similar how Christians believe Heaven is, only more... boring.

If you died in the most epic way possible, trough a great battle against worthy opponents, you ended up in Valhalla, where you could drink as much mead as you wanted, eat as much meat as you'd like, and fight to the death with the other fallen, only to be revived just afterward.

If there is a selection of afterlives, this is where I'm aiming for.

If you died as a coward, traitor, or anything else considered a sin, you ended up in Nivlheim, which is more like the Hell of Christian belief.

Okay, trough my venture into religion, I've probably done enough to get this thread closed. I therefore appologize, both to the admins and the members, and won't go further of topic if this thread is allowed to stay open.

Of course it matters! While I might be dead in the flesh, my name shall live on forever! *Swings sword wildy over his head.*

Well I do not have a religion so...

"To hell with hell!" - The commander

of some flagship in a Space RTS.

Basically I do not care "where/when" I am

going to die... If I could, I would like to be

remembered by many as sort of an explorer,

but obviously that is not possible (let´s face it

space travel is FaaaaR away into the future),

PLUS I think that I am going to end up as a

nobody... Heck!.

Should I go any further with my bizarre and messed up ways to die? Because I have tons more that are completely possible. So I will go with a more les messed up one:

Dying from a pole driven through my forehead launched through the air from a tornado. Then they pull the pole out of my skull and part of my brain is lodged in the pole like play-doh in a straw.

Yeah, I can top a lot of people off with the "desturbingness" and "scewed-up-ness." But I here is something not messed up:

Cancer. Plain and simple cancer anywhere on my body. That is pretty serious and non messed up.

Scientifically speaking, they are "messed up cells"...

So now that we have clarifhed that, we can concur thay all death is messed up in it's own way.

Everyone dies... Its not worth asking how you think it will happen to you, because it wouldn't matter anyway...because you'll be D...E...D... Dead!

Which "god" are you referring too? :)

Let's leave religion out of it, before we go EXTREMELY :offtopic:

Lets hope you dont get it and die .from it because I am going to die from electrocution from a telephone line coming down. The amount of electicity is too much for my body so it explodes and blood, guts, and chemicals go flying.
