I don't have too much of a idea yet but I think the next developers of SF should be either:

Capcom

Valve

Intelligent Systems (Fire Emblem Developer)

HAL labratory

Can't Nintendo develop the next one? Like they did for Star Fox 64? I mean...you don't see Mario or Zelda getting developed by 3rd party developers.

Mario and Zelda are their top franchises though :P

I do agree though, I'd like to see Nintendo take the game

into their own hands.

Hmm...I'm not sure what you're talking about, if you're talking about before the events of Assault occured or...how Krystal joined Starfox...

They gotta stop making Peppy old.. XD

They gotta stop making the Barrel rolls old.

Though I suggusted it would be nice for Nintendo+Capcom to work on the next Starfox, I would kinda doubt it would happen...ever since that awful failure of Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse (I'm serious here.)

It's more likely to be a developer that is probably Nintendo owned or...someone that knows Nintendo a lot like as I mentioned Itelligence Systems (Paper Mario developer and Fire Emblem) and HAL Labratory (Kirby and Super Smash Bros.), it's more likely that Nintendo E.A.D or Retro Studios will be the next developers, but we'll just have to wait and see for ourselves, I mean 2011 is getting close...maybe there'll be a announement of a new SF game after 64 3DS is released.

Man, it's too bad Activision snapped up Bungie before Nintendo.

I know...but hey, it's for 10 years though, it's not like its forever like Rare is with Microsoft. Mayeb after 10 years, Nintendo may consider buying them...

Nintendo is failing to pay attention to the good companies that are out there besides themselves.

Or my favourite method of fire ~ reboot the series back to just after the LW (A year or something), then all the characters are still young, (Fox is 20-21, peppy is 46-47), you could bring Krystal into it (If we MUST have her... I'm a Fara fan through and through) in a way that ISN'T cliché, ridiculous and makes her into a basket case (*Cough* Command *Cough*). And then because the characters aren't getting to the ends of their useful careers, and you haven't had a thousand different invasions you can be a lot more inventive and free with the plot.

Star Fox Adventures (Great game though it was) and all it's plot holes and conundrums can be put down to a spin-off or non-canon as can be Assault and Command( :D ).

You can also have faster flying, more Area 6 like levels, Missions with the Great Fox, spectacular graphics, lasers galore, barrel rolls, spec ops like foot missions that require a measure of thought and stealth, semi-realtime strategy (I.e. StarFox2), performance based difficulty regime(I.E. LW/SF64), more barrel rolls and ships exploding, lasers everywhere & lots of glory.

There, my piece is said; what does everyone else think? :hehe:
