No, I'm not talking about those sexy sexy aliens from the halo games. I'm talking about people who believe they are better because of education, luck, class or some other factor.

As a working class pleb, I hate the so called elite. People who were born into a social class. That said, I am eliteist myself. I'm a trained computer engineer with a focus on hardware and have been playing games since I could hold a joystick. As a result I believe my opinion is more vallid then someone without my experience when it comes to computers.

What's you take on it?

In that case, being an elitist is a good thing. However, people have to be balanced in some ways, and people who are "elite" just because they inherited lots of money or a good lineage, well, they're not truly "elite" now, are they?

Basically the "I am better beacause I got more money than you"

was one of the reasons for Communism. (And let´s leave at it,

I now politics are WAY deeper than that but this is not the place

to discuss it). Basically if you inherit lots of money, that does not

make you "better" - it just makes you have more economic freedom

than others, but there are celebrities who are =RICH=, and heck,

they can not even speak correctly!... I mean, duh, I am not a grammar

cop or anything but can not they at least have some basic school studies?

Kind of reminds me of a guy my dad knew in the Army, he was an explosives expert, but he hated being called one. He preferred it to be said he knew a bit more about explosives than most, because if you start thinking you're an expert, you get careless and stuck in your ways, and will likely get yourself and/or others killed. There will always be someone better at or knows more about something than you.

Also I would like to point out that regardless of how

much money/degrees/knowledge you have, there "will"

be allways someone who knows something you do not.

Having extensive experience in a subject does not makes

you "the best", as many people seem to believe.

Mmm, well, you're not better then someone if you can do things that other people can't, but I might say you are better if you are willing to work to get better at things, rather then sitting around moaning about how you can't do anything, which people do..

I'd like to kill them all someday, and mount their stupid heads on pikes (except for Sabre, since he's not worth wasting a bullet or a pike over ).

yet in the end it is just the same trash over and over.

There are some which are classics today:

- "I am better than you because I can do it and you can not."

- "I am rich, and you are not. So shut up because you are a

    lesser being." <(And some even dare to replace "being"

    with "thing".)

- "I am better than you because I am an anti-'whatever' and

    you are a 'whatever', which means that you are insane."

Note that the last one is used against fandoms with some frequency.
