Basically if it wasn't for the communists I'd probably be a Duke of some province in China right now.

Country Elitism only irritates me when its not even true. Like USA thinks it can step on Iraq when clearly they can't. Metaphorically, when people with big guns and tanks get the daylights beaten out of them by people with sticks and stones, it kind of screams n00b.

Well just to point it out the President Nat China (now Taiwan) planned

to eventually annex the warlord´s land, so eventually you would be

in the same place, just maybe you would just hate a diferent flag  :P.

And it is true that some contries think they are better

because they have weapons, but they are NOT because that.

That just makes them worse, like bullies.

I'm hate these Academia elitist intellectual dorks who took away Vocational Tech and shop class from our schools an colleges, all in the name of "intellectualism" which is really just "White Collar Fascist Conformity".

Yeah, they've realized the error of their ways, and they're [slowly] dragging their feet on bringing back vo-tech.  But what the **** about my generation, and the generations who never even got to take vo-tech as an option!?

No wonder Pol Pot wanted to kill intellectuals!  :P (J/k, I know that's not the real reason why he did it, and I don't necessarily hate intellectuals, just the snobby elitist intellectuals).

I hate Democracy, because it's a failure, IMO.  It creates snobbery, elitism, and paves the way for socialism, which is like a "diet communism" or "lite communism", IMO.

I'd prefer to live in a country with a government like the one in Starship Troopers, no democracy, civilian vs. citizen, that sorta stuff, only I'd want a MANDATORY draft, and you're executed for dodging the draft.

You're only exempt from military service because of your religious beliefs forbidding government/military service, or because you're disabled and can't fight, and by disabled I mean blind, deaf, in a wheelchair or on crutches, or especially in a wheelchair, shouting "TIMMY!"  , that sorta stuff.

But if you're not like that, you better answer the call, or be shot.

I'd definitely like to live in a place with a government and society like the Helghast in "Killzone".

I don't believe in elitism. If you are better at something, use your skills humbly to help others. If you are not good enough at whatever, take the time to learn.

Two claw's or thumbs up!(even thought this topic is really old)

That's cool!

Unfortunately, that kind of thinking is the minority, outnumbered by the majority (the majority is comprised of the elitists).

They call me to the AirForce.

Wingman: What is going down?

DRL: Who cares? Let´s continue flyin´ !

problem is, the USAF officers are soooo mean!  (I had a buddy or 2 who were enlisted men in the air force)  talk about elitism and snobbery, those air force officers can be such jerks...ego problems....not all of them are bad, but I've met a handful air force officers myself, and they were/are a bunch of ass****s!

I dont get this. Why do we need so called blue collor classes? Most of those jobs are done by machines, and we live in the information age. Sweat and grunt is pretty much outdated except for a couple of places we have yet to make machines for.

well, because,  they are "working class plebs, who hate the elite", like you CLAIM to be, but...apparently, you're actually VERY elitist  to say stuff like "Why do we need so called blue collor classes? Most of those jobs are done by machines, and we live in the information age. Sweat and grunt is pretty much outdated except for a couple of places we have yet to make machines for."

that's the type of crap the elitists say and think.

...not everything can be accomplished with computers, you know...and some people LIKE to work with their hands.

Just to point it out, in countries like mine´s

there is still such class. Sure, we do not 'need'

it, but then, how are these people going to earn

their living? That would certainly require govt.

intervention; a thing a elitist goverment like ours

does not wants to happen (mainly because they

want the money for themselves).

... Just walk around our streets for awhile

and you know what I mean...

Random question: Why do people in the air force wear camouflage? Think about it.

My country is socialist, so most of the working class are around the same level as the upper classes. Of course we do have the VERY low classes like the people who hold up the "Go" sign and the Sewage Divers. Mind you, the latter is a very highly paid job.

Unfortunately, in my country, all the elitists are politicians.

That is true around here, too.

Exept that my country is not socialist

and the politicians like to take advantage

of that (they hire poor guys as thug-armies).

A better question: "Why do Japanese Kamikaze Pilots wear helmets?" xD

but, yeah, like Sabre said, it's in case they have to eject behind enemy lines.

Australia is a nightmarish hellhole, no offense....sorry you gotta put up with that  crap....America is slowly turning into places like that

Why'd you respond twice? Also, no. I'm not being elitist. I'm just saying that they should be out dated by now.

OOps! meant to put that in the earlier post

Anyways, I see now...that's your opinion...

Bact OT,

Regarding elitism, there's this city near where I live, very ritzy, rich community, where if you live on the south side of the main boulevard of this city, then you are looked down upon and seen as a leper by the people on the north side.  There's nothing wrong with the south side of this town, the property there isn't as "stately" as the properties on the north side, and they are slightly cheaper than the north side (despite the fact the south side properties are worth almost $1,000,000) but this is a ritzy town, and the people there are uber snobs (couldn't get the oomlat feature to work on this blasted keyboard :P ).
